Just looked at the stats and I can't believe how many times we've played them W54, D35, L35.
I recall us drawing 1-1 first match of the 2005 season at Carrow Road after they'd been relegated from the prem (again) the previous season and Rob Green their goalie came out with 'no disrespect but we should be beating sides like Coventry'.
Oh boy have I enjoyed watching him make some howlers ever since.

Knowing us we’ll win 2-1 before losing 4-0 against West Brom.

Yeah - feels like, as a fanbase, we've reverted in mindset to our first season back in the Championship, where every game looks like a David versus Goliath game. We're now searching through the fixture list, looking for games against Blues, Rotherham, Blackpool or Wigan for some sort of respite, whilst cowering at Norwich, West Brom, Luton etc. It doesn't always pan out the way you expect, though. We could do with a Callum's nearly ready update, and an unexpected 3 points here and there and there will be (hopefully) a reset. Need some points amassed before the January window (as there may well be a shuffling of the deck, I suspect)

We’ve got enough to pull ourselves out of it. The bigger worry is the general melancholy that seems to have set in around the club thanks to the owners not being able to organise a piss up in a brewery.

I think this is a solid take on how things stand. I'll say that the pitch thing is one where, Yeah, we could've done more but it's harsh to take the position that it's somehow the fault of those running the football club day to day. Hard to plan for it! Hindsight is 20:20 and all that.

Losing O'Hare was a huge blow, too. Again, he'd been such an Iron Man up to that point that you couldn't anticipate it. That aside, momentum could've been maintained by stronger comms with fans when the pitch sh*t kicked-off, and one strong signing on top of Palmer e.g. a CB.

Anyone wit football knowledge knows a sale just before the window closes only has one impact on morale. We left all our dealing too late and seemingly only progressed O’Hare at the expense of backup options.

But yeah the pitch has had the biggest impact on fans and team I’m sure. Robins keeps saying how big an impact it’s had

Look forward to it. Will be happy with a point but I think we will win 2-1 PUSB

Like your optimism. My son is so up for tomorrow as he hasn't been to Norwich before. He reckons we'll win, but I don't think we have a cat in hells chance.

A right royal six of the best trousers down.

Last time I said that we smashed 4 past Fulham.

Sure I'm not the only one to say this, but I really fancy us tomorrow.

Expect the away to be rocking and just feel it will all come together.

There will be three goals scored. Not saying who by or from what team, but that's my prediction!

I don't think Norwich are the team they were last time in the Championship. They will be decent but promotion I'm not so sure.
We can do well at any team if we get our game rolling. Those with depressing comments are just doom mongers. Win, ose or draw our season is just begining. It will be more about the performance than anything. We have a good chance if we turn up. The mental side should be settled now. Gyokeres remains and is a big goal threat and can terrorize a defence in this league. We have lost one player, listening to everyone sounds like we are threadbare? O'Hare injured is our engine room but players like Hamer and an ever improving Palmer can light the litmus paper at any time. This will be tough and I want to see a renewed approach and confidence. Norwich are beatable.

Wilson to cost us at least one goal but probably also make a couple of eye catching saves.

Keep it 0-0 at HT or miraculously score in first half and we may scrape a result and I know most on here would take a draw.
Concede early and it could be a very long afternoon for the Cov defence and an absolute battering.

Sarnies made, just got to get the wingman out of his pit (which considering he was still awake at 2am when I got up to go for a wazz should be fun).

God knows what team our lord and saviour will pick, but whichever it will get the full vocal backing of the SBA. Never been to Norwich before in all my many years on this planet. Looking forward to it.

Oh, cheeky 1-2 Fadz and Gyo with ours.

Haha thought you were in my house for a minute. Finally got my wingman out of bed and just about to leave. 1.1 Panzo #PUSB
