I hope my previous message about you and believer hasn’t made me out to be a stalker… or the fact I’m sat in your garden… I’m just a big fan
Haha I'd have taken you out a cup of tea if I'd seen you earlier
Just looked and you've gone

Greedy little prick. Lost a lot of my respect for him. Such a soulless game nowadays.
At least no more of that Tom Grennan knob anymore.
Why? If someone offered you 3 x your salary for 3 or 4 years to do the same job and would make you for life, would you take it?

This has the markings of one hell of a shit move for o’hare. I can’t see this working for either parties.

You cant tell me that despite a new manager that by passed its midfield for the last few years they will change to a passing team within a few weeks that will allow o’hare to run a game?

I couldn’t give a shit how it works for Burnley to be honest should he leave.

For a bit of perspective, if it is £8m, even before add ons, I believe it would be the biggest Championship to Championship transfer fee since Assombalonga 5 years ago probably? And in the Top 10 all time?
People keep saying about £10m+ etc. but it just doesn't happen anymore. To get that sort of money you'd need Premier League interest.

Huddersfield owner put a fortune in over the years as well so not really like them either

Not totally related but just as you mentioned Huddersfield; Lewis O'Brien & Harry Toffolo joining Forest at £10m for the pair.
Given O'Brien's quality & the fact he has a longer contract than O'Hare, say £7/8m for him looks cheap in comparison.

Completely agree. O'brien is a top top player, probably one of the very best in the league. 8 million for Ohare is very good for a normal club - problem for us is that Robins will see very little if any of that

Probably the same was true of Grealish at AV and back in the day Rooney at Everton where his whole family were Evertonians
There's a great atmosphere in the camp
But all the players see their team mates go from fan's favourites to 'deadwood' after suffering serious injury when doing their job for the club

I'm guessing this is regarding the numpties having a good old laugh at Liam Kelly's expense on another thread. Thought that was pretty low to be honest don't know how much the players pay any attention to the forums but there is some pretty embarrassing and heartless stuff on here at times

Kompany splashing the cash to make up for the inevitable incompetency. Wonder if o'hare will be bood or cheered when we play them
Hope we have a clause inserted that says he has to be left out of whenever we play Burn(in hell)ley.

To be fair when you look at previous City transfer records it puts 8/9m for O’Hare into perspective. 2nd highest fee received for a player who should probably really score more goals. Cant really argue. Sibley and Bird would be great business in return.
Yep we’ve got to move quickly to get Sibley and Bird in to paper over the gaping hole. Not sure who else we can get to fill the void.

If he goes for 8 mill and we bring in the palace lad on loan and sibley + bird on permenant 3 year deals, the club pockets the rest to keep us financially stable then I can live with that.

He’s been a model pro for us from day dot, massive in getting us up and staying in the league while never being injured and always giving 100 % on the pitch.

As infuriating at times as he has been to watch, he goes with nothing but my best wishes. 🙏

Just imagine what could happen if Kasey Palmer finally finds his feet with us, fulfils that early promise and becomes that player people were expecting him to become earlier in his career.
I know it'll be very difficult to replace O'Hare's infectious enthusiasm both on and off the pitch, but as we all know, football is an unpredictable sport at the best of times and perhaps the final outcome will be far more positive than most of us are expecting it to be.

People weren't saying he was crap or that he hasn't been a very influential player for us - just that he is injury prone, which is pretty factual. Also the fact that his time here is probably coming to an end.
As great as Kelly and McFadzean have been at the club, they have ran their course - and we shouldn't be relying on either as mainstays this season.

That's exactly how players talk to each other when one of them gets a big offer Hobo
Especially at our level where almost all of them will have to find another job when they finish playing
What would any of us do in their shoes?
