Lack of composure and cutting edge clear to see. Don't care how many times Grendal tells us o hare was outstanding, he had 4 chances first half to lay it on a plate and went wrong every time. Gyokeres skying it over at the end. Maatson a wild right foot clearance over the bar and walker at the end then had the freedom of the away end and panicked. Brum played for the 0-0 all night and will be long throwing themselves home all night long.

Disappointing

So Bournemouth is a mustn’t lose game disappointed to have dropped points tonight . Gyo and godden have to start and I’d bring Kane in too

Centre backs played well and we looked solid enough. Going forward we were very toothless though. Dabo, Maatsen and O'Hare are our main outlets. Dabo going forward gets worse by the game. Maatsen flattered to deceive tonight I thought - can't recall him creating anything. O'Hare standard performance - works very hard, approach play pretty decent, final ball is relentlessly abysmal.

If we'd won tonight we could have approached that game with a bit more freedom, knowing it wouldn't be the end of the world if we didn't get a result. Now it feels like we need to pick up at least a point.

Maatsen flattered to deceive??? That is beyond crazy.

It might require some players to shoot before the 90th minute

Frustrating. As expected either we were going to thump them or have a turgid affair. The latter was the unfortunate outcome.
Brum set their stall to foul us and break our rhythm, which they did. But we need to be better than that and find the final ball that makes the difference when we have the vast majority of the ball. Sheaf I felt was missed tonight and Gyko probably needs a rest. I can't blame Walker for that strike, his instruction was to try and take any late chance he got - he did.
2 points dropped I'm afraid, but there will be surprises elsewhere and I would not be surprised if we now beat Bournemouth or something.
Got to get the balance right in the team and get that smell of goals back in the side. Godden is due a goal again and it will come. Credit to Brum for their effort and frustrating us.

The only reason we get into good positions is because of O'Hare

Games like this make me think more and more we're a mid-table side that has had a good start and are slowly coming down to our level and not a top 6 side that people don't rate properly.

We've had 140 minutes of dominance in the last 2 games and scored 0 goals.
Even if this was true great improvement from last season so stop moaning?

If he'd been on for 20 minutes or so he probably wouldn't have done it. But substitutions as on Saturday were just wrong again tonight. If you're going to bring Walker on give him more than meaningless cameos
Not only does it put a cold player on the pitch but it takes one that's well in the game out

Didn't read the entire thread. This was a total waste of time. The only positives since international break are the clean sheets, but we seem to have forgotten how to score and look absolutely toothless.
