I've got a story. Was driving back from the White Lion, along the lanes, turned the bend and thought there was a cat sitting in the middle of the road, staring straight at me. Stopped in the road to investigate, turned out it was a baby fucking owl, just sitting there looking all cute but obviously in distress. It was my chance, i thought, think if all the bragging online i can do if i save and maybe adopt an owl, i'll surely go viral. I pondered my options and was pretty unsure on what to do next, so instinct took over, rolled my jeans up and booted it into the bushes and got back on my way, out of sight out of mind. True story. It’s always a balance between highest level and getting game time which is the point. He’d be a fabulous signing in January

We could make a strong pitch if he’s going to the championship. Near the top playing good football and he knows a couple of the lads here.

I think we’d miss out due to not being able to afford the loan fee. Not too bad a thing, they’d probably want £1m or something like that, maybe less as only half a season, and we know what our recruitment team call pull out of the bag with that money on a perm.
