Wife and me both work for nhs and are double jabbed

Daughter was supposed to have herjab on Friday

Feels like a really heavy cold

It was the loss of sense and smell that really did my head in. The rest of it wasn’t too bad, gone within a few days spent in bed. But the senses didn’t return for a week… bloody weird. Wishing you a speedy recovery mate.

NHS England publish them; https://www.england.nhs.uk/statisti...09/Primary-Diagnosis-Supplement-20210902.xlsx

These are England figures only

On 31 August of the 6057 people in hospital with a covid diagnosis, 4601 were in there because of covid primarily (75%)

Assuming 75% as a rule of thumb then of the 8k in hospital with a covid diagnosis, 6k are there because of covid primarily.

The numbers with a diagnosis is important as more people in hospital with covid = greater risk of other non covid patients in hospital catching it

How many unvaccinated from these figures please kind sir

I used to be a bit fearful of needles mostly because of the horror stories you'd hear in school leading up to getting the BCG which was actually fine but you'd be led to thinking it was being delivered via rusty lance by a knight on speeding horseback.

What are you even trying to dispute here? That most people going to hospital with COVID are unvaccinated?

I'm disputing the naivety of some people. Screaming about anti-vaxx people but then seeing something they agree with on twitter and taking it as gospel.

What’s naive about agreeing that most hospitalised Covid patients are unvaccinated? There are lots of sources for it, both here and around the world, so is there a good reason I shouldn’t take it as gospel? This isn’t something that’s just been plucked from Twitter, so not sure why you’re trying to compare it to the anti-vax rubbish.

There are never any facts to back this type of horseshit up.

There's plenty of talk about naivety, secret agendas, people doing the govt's work for them (without saying what this "work" actually is)- its a warped world of strange paranoia.

But put them on the spot like you just have, and there is rarely a coherent answer- lets see.

Virtually everything you post infers some sort of conspiracy where you're acting against some tyranny. Even when people are talking about players they think should be starting matches you do this schtick.

That doesn't mean anything.

'I don't like your opinion so I'll jump on your posts and cry conspiracy.'

Get a life.

It is not the statement itself, it is the fact that a lot of stuff previously posted as 'conspiracy theory' or written off because it came off Twitter, then something turns up which matches the narrative of some on here, and all of a sudden Twitter is a perfectly acceptable source.

The woman claiming that ICU for children was full around the whole country was paraded on here. Anyone that argued against it was given a load of shit, and then many said people who did so went quiet when it came out that she was bullshitting.

So you're saying they're not naive then?

So no proof of any conspiracies then.

I don’t know why you’re ranting about this when the only sources that people mentioned in this case were statements from the Prime Minister and the Chief Medical Adviser. Twitter never entered the equation. Presumably that’s enough for you to agree that the majority of Covid hospital patients are unvaccinated? Or are you still not convinced?

highly unlikely, they've all got an 'agenda'
