That's surprising, particularly Cranie. I think he'd have done a good job for us.

He wanted a 2 year deal and at 35 years old it’s not part of our recruitment model.

Budget etc mate
I'm pretty sure we've got the budget left for a couple of loans and a freebie defender... well you would hope so.
Understand we could probably do with offloading a couple too.

Is Clarke Salter black?

Like football manager when u imagine one of yours players is white black brown based on their name and then see them in real life a different colour

For some reason imagined Clarke Salter looks like Scott dann lol

At his age 2 games a week would be struggle, but would have been perfect as a back up or league only type player and his experience would have been asset.

Haha I know what you're saying. I imagined him as white before I saw him.

I'm surprised we've not pressed on with Cranie.

Clarke-Salter got very bad reviews from Sunderland fans, but they do seem to hate every player who has ever played for them. Not too sure about his spells at Birmingham, but looks like he didn't play that much. He's left footed though and we desperately need a left footed CB so sign him up.

I really think Robins has something up his sleeve in terms of centre back. Not panicking just yet. I wouldnt be settling for players like this chap for the sake of bodies in the door.

Imagine if there was a way you could search for such info on the internet? 😉
I got a report from my Chelsea fan mate and he said he's decent and good in air but not Chelsea level. Said good for any championship side

Did not mention his colour tho lol

Hardly be “settling for him”, he’d be a good signing. Very good, in fact, considering our system.

29 games in 2 seasons at Blues, did well in his first spell but by the looks of it struggled to start and was bombed out towards the latter of his second one (didn’t make the squad for the last 10 games)

They changed manager around then didn’t they? Formation/style change maybe?

Apparently he couldn't even get on the bench at times under rat-boy Bowyer

Don’t understand what you’re saying? Maybe we tried to get him last year but he went back to Blues, hence long term target.
But there is no evidence of us ever looking at him, I know its the same for Panzo as thats just long term links but Im just saying I think he is guessing from info from the Twatter
