No. Better to have 130,000 dead than a few protests.

I’m sure you’d be delighted with a country that’s not bothered vaccinating it’s population - Australia what a bastion of democracy

How many have died in Australia?

Edit: I just googled it- 918 deaths.

By your own argument how many have died in the Falkland Islands

There will obviously be a lot of news items of young people being ill and long Covid to try and mop up the remaining people to be vaccinated in an attempt to push voluntary vaccines as I suspect the government is reluctant to go the compulsory route

lol- I’m not arguing with anyone though. It’s like as has been pointed out to you by other people, you have some kind of disgust for other nations.

And I just googled it- zero dead in the Falklands, and 63% fully vaccinated so far. They’ll get to the magic 100% I reckon, or close to it 👍

I haven’t said that - I don’t though agree with two tiered societies

Despite voting your entire life for a party that consistently puts forward policies creating one by giving to the rich and taking from the poor.

Which again is stereotypical drivel

It’s not though, is it. Wouldn’t matter if it was your lot or Labour (who would make a mess of it anyway), there will always be tiers, it’s the nature of the beast. To suggest it could be any other way is to live in an impossible utopian dreamland and you don’t come across as a stupid man.

Therefore if you accept that high-level intervention in times of huge crisis is necessary- and in fact a trait of good leadership, you’d have to accept that some measure- whatever it may be- would be a wise move.

How many 80yr olds are there out of 3500 people ?

“ The islands' age distribution is skewed towards working age (20–60). Males outnumber females (53 to 47 percent), and this discrepancy is most prominent in the 20–60 age group.”

Ridiculous. Do you really not understand that the Flaklands is much smaller than Australia or the UK?

By the way don't even try the argument that Australia has fewer deaths than us because it has a smaller population. There is no doubt we have handled this appallingly and that is due to our Government 's incompetence.

Rather be in a country that looks after its population rather than allowing elderly and vulnerable to die.

That rules out all of Europe then. Not North Korea though

You’ve gone full crank. Amazing.

😂😂😂😂

Watch out for the lizard people G.

😂😂😂😬

I really haven’t - I’m hardly anti vaccine - my whole family has had it. However I do not think people should be forced to have it or have restricted measures placed on them - I also don’t believe protests shouldn’t be allowed just because a majority of the population considers them to be extreme

Those protests you’re lauding were from people saying all healthcare workers should be on trial and hung. You’ve claimed they have some legitimacy. They don’t.

AFAIK no country on earth including the most authoritarian are force vaccinating anyone. Would love to see evidence to the contrary. Again you’ve been so desperate to prove a point against someone you’ve ended up siding with loons.

We’re in a pandemic. Public health applies. We restrict “freedom” of some for others all the time. It’s called the legal system.

I’m not lauding anything and I don’t personally believe I have the right to judge what is valid and what isn’t.

I have also pointed out it’s not forced vaccination but a restriction in peoples ability to enjoy freedoms if they reject it. Perhaps they should all have to wear an orange boiler suit with a COVID emoji when they leave the house so we know who they are

I’m not sure what you mean by the last sentence. I do know piers Corbyn was fined £10,000 for organising a rally that broke COVID rules last year. I have looked but I can’t see evidence of other, far larger but more popular gatherings receiving the same treatment - how very odd

I’m sure you’re uneasy of proof of vaccination for events being used to coerce and manipulate behaviour aren’t you?

I very much doubt he is. When it comes down to it he’s very selective in his stance on authoritarian behaviour by the state

Every time someone says something you launch into an attack on various other countries (particularly Italy?) and various people who have nothing to do with what is being talked about as far as I can see

I’m answering a question on protests - I’d like you to provide evidence on attacks on other counties. Interestingly many posters on here attack their own country but I guess that’s ok
