You've just said that Fisher knows a lot about football - and according to you he's the man who single handedly appointed Robins.

Now since you're always calling for taxis for Robins (4 moronic seasons in a row) - does that mean you know nothing about football?

Given your moronic contributions on here - the answer has been highly obvious for some time.

Laughing off 5-3-2 in the same games where it’s won us points
Hinting at the sack since October, full on calling for it in March
Jackett being ‘the perfect swap’
Not knowing who the head of state is

Dover Athletic had a better season than our G

I would like Walsh I would like James too or if only one either but if one or both go elsewhere so be it there are plenty looking for clubs. I would expect MR to have a list of targets.
One I like the look of is Barnsley’s Alex Mowatt now a free agent I believe.

Mowatt was announced on their retained list

Commentators were saying during the Swansea/Barnsley play-off he was out of contract they must have got it wrong.

Can't see James signing as think he will have plenty of choices and better money offered, but robins will get someone in that will do the same job and the right player so he will be a memory James.

Tim Fisher appointed Robins - Sisu is actually a tiny office in London with a staff of 10’

That is like saying the SISU accounts published in this country is the whole SISU?

Tim Fisher appointed Robins? So what? How many chairmen/chairwomen actually appoint people?. Apart from the deluded Alan Sugar for his ego massage of a tv programme.

"The brilliant businesswoman Seppalla has blown £30m in 14 years to get back to where she was" - but you don't know this ??? On one hand you argue this on and another you argue she doesnt own the club and is a manager of high risk funds of behalf of others.

That is the problem with SISU we dont know how they are doing or where Coventry City sit in their investment schemes? You have no more idea than the rest of us. For instance you dont know how long the investors term is on their investments. Or whether the investors and their investments are staggered over a period. You dont know if their investment in CCFC is off set against other investments or how those investments are performing?

Since Seppalla has shown a direct interest in the club we seem to be on a pretty consistent and sensible business model. You seem to be crying out for us to spunk millions up the wall like Bolton and join the Premier League - Debt League.

I mean, arguably we’ve spunked tens of millions on finishing 16th in the Championship at best in a decade...

Who is our highest paid player at the moment ? if we are chasing Matty James what would we pay him and if we believe we matched Cardiff’s offer for James Collins how much would that have been. I’m not saying we should go for Mowatt but what in our division are classed as too higher wages. Not sure either if wage capping will come in I think it might. I hope it does.

A player like him could get 15k pw. It’s not necessarily about wages though, it would be a backwards step in his career.

You don’t class us as a top end championship club then, how high do you have to be to be “top end” are Barnsley a top end club ?

How much have Bolton spunked to finish 3rd in League 2? Look at the debt figures of the Premier League Clubs? We are relatively lean. But the real question is:

Is the high volume debt of Premier League football really worth it? It is for a football fan who isn't investing their own money but who bleat and moan when their club is about to go out of existence.

If only we’d stop forcing people to buy football clubs all this suffering could be avoided 😢

Yeah the game is fucked, it’s not the fans fault though. The owners could institute rules to avoid it whenever they wanted.

So as I asked is Barnsley a top end club ?

On the pitch last season yes, the league table doesn’t lie after 46 games, in terms of wage budget we’re right down the bottom, and that’s what counts when you’re trying to sign/re-sign players.

In my opinion all budgets could be similar this season I’m certain once this season is over there will be changes to how things have been done in all the EFL divisions wage capping despite what the PFA say I’m sure will happen, gone a bit quiet now but under the surface government involvement will look for change most EFL clubs are still up to their eyeballs with debt. Just an opinion.

It might not be enforced, but I certainly see players being advised to take less money at a well run club, rather than the promise of millions by a basket case club, that could be heading towards league one. One or Ten clubs could find it difficult to attract players going forward.

Do you really think that? I think maybe you mean half of the club's in the division may be on a (vaguely) similar footing?
I don’t think there are many with excess money in the bank yes.
I think there will be changes which will affect all EFL clubs and players on new contracts existing contracts will have to be honoured I would think. I listened to bit of a debate on this some months ago and a lot of clubs furloughed various members of staff yet were paying individuals thousands of pounds a week which didn’t go down well in government circles. I think this might be an interesting summer.

Whatever the outcome here I hope we don't turn this into a Mowbray summer and spend out whole time chasing targets that end up elsewhere. Would be good to get James but not the end of the world if he goes elsewhere.

I hope we're in negotiations with multiple players and if James is primary target we don't waste too long on him before moving on to number 2.
Lets hope a repalcement is not a number 2

Or if he held us to ranson over wages would he be Jesse James? or is that if if he turned out to be gay!
