Breaking Bad. And even the film after didn’t ruin it.
The Wire.
24 was ok.

Other than that can’t think of anything. It’s almost a no win situation.

There are probably far more that ended badly or without a proper ending.

Alcatraz
Revolution
Ascension

All North American and canned before the end.

I thought the last series of the Wire was bonkers.
The McNulty storyline was nonsense. Brilliant TV other than that.
Loved Boardwalk Empire but thought the final series was rushed.

Shane's episode, which I think was the penultimate one, was incredible TV. Was thinking about it for days.

I remember in the final season of the Sopranos when Phil Leotardo gives his pissed off speech to Butchie, couldn't belive it when Chickentown by John Cooper Clarke started playing, incredibl choice of song.
That bloke's material just gets better and better .
Been brilliant to see him feature in a few irreverent quiz show's recently.

Some people hated the Sopranos ending. Personally I liked it. Echo Hill's thoughts on Breaking Bad and the movie. Better Call Saul has been excellent and that is coming to an end soon, looking forward to that. SOA had a decent ending.

Unforgotten was good.
Six Feet Under set the bar for best finale after 5 series.

I prefer better call Saul so far. The cinematography is incredible. It took breaking bad a couple of seasons to get up to that standard.

Yeah, was having this conversation with my nephew the other day and he convinced me, I do think it is probably better. The pacing, cinematography and performances have been pretty perfect so far.

I think it's generally easier for sitcoms to stick the landing than dramas. Catastrophe, The Office and Fleabag all good examples. Mad Men is the only prestige drama I can think of where I didn't feel a BIT let down.

Blackadder Goes Forth
There was a documentary on a while ago where those involved in Blackadder said the ending was an accident. Basically they shot it in colour and full speed but it looked terrible. There was no budget or time to reshoot so they had to find a way to make the footage they had shot work.

Wanted to say this but you know. Blokes aren’t allowed to have watched Friends.
On the other hand I've never seen 'Friends" and I'm a gal.
I've not seen any of the other US series suggested on this thread either though.
Don't really see the appeal of US tv.
Sorry

I don’t really watch British stuff so opposite to you.

NOT SORRY
