'People in England can travel to other destination'
Is Skeggy isn't one then the message isn't clear is it?
Can they?

They can travel a short distance for exercise. What is so difficult to understand?

How have exercise guidelines changed?

I know the truth doesn't go well with the point most are putting across here. But there's the rules for you.

There were no proper limits on exercise etc previously, perhaps it is really about the Tories wanting to appear to relax things (so the Dims of this world stop looking longingly at other European countries relaxing their lockdowns) but actually leave it so confusing that people stick as they are.

Also, has any of the legislation been amended for this?

“You can sit in the sun in your local park, you can drive to other destinations, you can even play sports but only with members of your own household.”

Plus what you’ve posted was yesterday before this speech and what’s to come tomorrow you div.
Div?

Ha ha. Last link was from 13 minutes before. Travel hasn't changed.

I am amazed how many people can't understand what our shutdown is all about.

But then I read this thread and see that there certainly is a lack of understanding. Is it a lack of understanding or just point scoring?

Exercise. Short travel only allowed. Can't people read?

Work. Only if safe to do so. Work from home if you can. Employers must put a plan in place.

I thought he explained it well. 5 stages. We are 4 and lowering towards 3. As the stage lowers we get more freedom. If it goes higher we get restricted again. Why is this so difficult to understand?

So here you go point scorers. Fill yer boots.

You’re asking the wrong people.

Most people on their thread get it. Because most people on this thread weren’t doing the conga round their street or doing shitty dances (that I can’t remember the name of) on the floor in the middle of the road.

Can you say the same for the Facebook fuckwits?

And then said fuckwits infect the families of the sensible people on here, or in their neighbourhoods.... that’s how it falls apart.

So where do you live? If not near Skeggy you are totally wrong. And you can't go on the beach.

Don't you know what you are and are not allowed to do?
A point Boris made was that you can play sport outdoors with your family.
But does he mean family, or should he mean household ?
Why can't Clint meet his daughter in the park round the corner and throw a ball to each other or sit on a bench ? ( 2 metres apart if it's a long one )
It's extremely confusing . Scotland Wales and NI have got it right. No confusion.

Is Skeggy close to you?

Ah I get you. Every place in the whole UK should be named as if it is close enough for you to travel to.

The bbc link? Yeah fair enough but how was I meant to quote you on that link before you posted it? Ha ha
The bbc link just says you can now drive to exercise and it doesn't give an allowed distance. He clearly has not read the link.

If you have been keeping up you would know it is to do with households and not family. If you live together there is no extra risk unless those not in your household join you.

What is difficult to understand any of this?

Robert Jenrick: "Stay alert will mean stay alert, by staying home as much as possible"

So in other words stay home
That's what you should do but unlimited exercise in reality means if stopped by the police you can say I was out for a walk or I was driving to go for a walk

The other one you replied to showed that you are not allowed to travel long distances unless a very good reason to.

Weird. Felt sick second week of March and had a few of the symptoms as did the girl I am seeing (I was at her house all week and staying in the same bed and we were sick together).

She went for the antibody test last week and got her results on Friday and was positive. So I went and got mine done and just got results saying negative.

Really weird no? How accurate are these tests

I’d just assume you’ve got it and act accordingly to be honest.

Should've kept the 'stay at home' instead of 'stay alert'. I still don't know what that means.

Also its great that people are encouraged to go back to work and go outdoors more as long as social distancing measures are in place. What about those wanting to see friends, families and partners not in the same household? Without stating the obvious (particularly where partners are concerned!) does that mean that this can only happen outdoors and 2m apart?

“stay alert” makes it sound like the virus is hiding behind bushes and in alleyways waiting to pounce on unsuspecting passers by

What does it say then?

Have you not read it? If so why are you arguing about it?

Johnson said you can travel.to excersise ( he didn't specify a distance) a long as you are with people from your household and social distancing is maintained

So.my original point is correct. I can travel to Skeggy and spend all day on the beach but can't visit my daughter.

So who was it trying to point score?

I can go out tomorrow, drive to Skeggy, spend the day on the beach, but I can't visit my daughter who lives round the corner. It's fucking nonsense.
I know that's obviously excessive but someone in the commons or a member of the public to ask and clarify your point about the extended family. Got the same issue, daughter and grandkids live in the next road and we're all being very carful. FFS, her youngest is type 1 so obviously everyone is ensuring he's not put in any danger.

If you want to visit your immediate family, but "stay alert" by eg. keeping in the garden and 2m apart (no huggsys, take your own cans and hold onto your piss until you get home), I can't see any problem. Not much difference in the rules come Wednesday, when you can exercise as much as you want and sit on a park bench all day. Who's to say who's going to sit on the bench opposite?

But it’s from before today’s speech though isn’t it?
Reiterating that travel hasn't changed. Short distance for exercise. Short distance as possible for shopping. Travel for work. If not stay at home.

From before today’s speech and the new rules tomorrow.

Am I going mental or what?

You have to be with people from your own household Alan.
Though I'm sure if you're right, as long as you maintain social distancing you could meet as you say. Though she's nearly 30 so.probably not really interested in a game of catch!

not being funny pal, but it’s confusing even trying to make any sense of what you’re saying, let alone these new ‘rules’

Boris said you can play sport with your family. But family don't always live together. My two eldest daughters have their own families in their own homes but according to him I can have contact with them .
Stay at home is therefore completely dead in England but no one understands quite who they can see and who they can't.
You clearly do. Bully.
