Yeah had asthma all my life mate it’s not bad just the odd puff on the inhaler now and then usually gets worse summer time but if I pick up a cold etc or chest infection it’s usually a daily thing I’ll be on the inhaler,my worry is how easy it is to pick up partner or me has to go shops etc

I’m the same as you. They advised making sure you’re taking a preventative inhaler at the correct times and dosage on a daily basis to help build up a resistance to the respiratory part of the virus should you get it. Got a preventative inhaler the other week for the first time in years. If you’ve not already got one and keeping on top of taking it you may want to consider it.

I think you’d have to take population into account- Brum is well over 1m people, I think places like Manchester are half that as the boroughs next to them make up greater Manchester. But you’re right, that’s high- I think Leeds has over 700k population and they have way less.

If the percentage of local Muslim population was a factor then why is Sheffield not not far behind Birmingham when Muslims make 6 percentage of Sheffields population but 21 percentage of the population of Birmingham. There's not correlation to even argue causation.

The thing with this is Manchester 221 on its own, if you add in the outlying areas
That make up Greater Manchester the numbers I would think will be very similar to
Birmingham ‘as would the population.
If you gage Sheffield 715 against comparable city’s, Liverpool 342 , Leeds 219
Sheffield for some reason looks really high.

Was just about to post asking why we aren't seeing similar in other area's with a high Muslim population if that was the reason. Suppose you really need to see the figures per 100K of population to be able to compare.
