Coronavirus Isolation - TV Shows to Binge (2 Viewers)

As inevitably a lot of us will end up self isolating or WFH, coupled with the potential of pubs/coffees shops/restaurants etc closing, it’s going to mean more time at home.

I’m currently in that boat as my partner is pregnant and now they are deemed high risk (although not sure what that’s based on) she’s keen for me to WFH to minimise the risk of contagion to her, the unborn baby and our 7 month year old!

While I am working during the day, I’m obviously home more than usual, so we’re looking for some TV shows to binge.

I’m sure over time I won’t be the only one in this boat, so let’s use this thread to gather a list of TV shows that are worth a watch....

Miracle Workers is good and very easy to binge on without getting fed up. You’ll do it in an afternoon easily. Worth watching for Steve Buscemis god alone. Especially when he explains to his parents what a dog, cow and giraffe are.

King Gary on BBC is very funny.
As suggested above 'The Test' is excellent......(Amazon Prime) Its a documentary following the Aussies cricket team post cheating scandal and covers last years world cup and ashes series.

Thanks all, some good recommendations above! I’ve seen a fair few and of those mentioned Save Me, Sneaky Pete, Safe, Liar and Breaking Bad are my favourites. Comedy wise This Country is brilliant too.

The others I haven’t seen/couldn’t get into so I’ll give them a try.

Is Westworld worth a go? I watched a few episodes years ago but couldn’t get into it.

New series is set a a little after the end of the last one. Mostly a new cast and has Aaron Paul in it.

Westworld can be very complex at times. You are not just trying to work out what is going on, but WHEN it is going on too.

I would very much recommend Ozark. The first series especially. Very good cast, Jason Bateman and Laura Linney.

An accountant is very much on the run from the mob and he has to try and launder money.

New season out next week.

I also adored Undone. Like nothing I had ever seen before.

For anyone who hasn't seen Ozark, I recommend you watch this short trailer. See if that wets your taste buds.

I might give Westworld another go then, it’s one of those shows I want to like, it just didn’t grip me! I think that’ll be a me show as opposed to one with my partner - she isn’t into stuff like that.

We watched Ozark series one and really enjoyed it, then we stopped watching a few episodes into series two - no idea why!

Not sure on Undone, as I’m not usually a fan of animated shows.

The second series of Ozark is not as good as the first, for sure. Hoping the third series is back bang on form.

Wife and I like Outlander...now on series 5 (amazon prime). It won’t be for everyone but as we may all be spending more time with our other halves it is something to consider as it appeals to both. Romance, history, some violence and action and a bit of sex. Certainly towards end of series one is not for family viewing.
My wife says her other husband is Jamie Frazier...the main male character.
A woman in 1946 goes back in time to 1740s Scotland.

yes I’ve heard of that and watched two episodes
Well, Better Call Saul follows the story of dodgy lawyer from Breaking Bad.

Some say Better Call Saul is better than Breaking Bad. You do to have watched BB first though, or some stuff will not make sense I don't think
