20 of my hard earned Euros have been placed on Fury taking it on points... Wilder only needs to connect once in 12 rounds, Fury doesn’t have KO power and needs to wear Wilder down gradually. But I think he does just that.

Oh, and either of these two would destroy the phoney champion Joshua.

Fight is Fury's if he wants it.
Genuinely don't think we've seen the best of Fury. Sure he can punch harder just prefers to box.
Only limit to Fury is himself.
Wilder has the punchers chance but didn't manage it in the 1st fight.
Do wonder if changing trainers is a good idea though

I think Fury's head has been all over the place recently. WWE, books, public appearances, singing with Robbie Williams and he sacked off the trainer who helped him make his comeback.

Wilder has just been going about his business and hasn't changed a thing.

I hope Fury wins. He's the better boxer but he struggled to put away a bum in his last fight and suffered a major cut above his eye.

Did anyone notice Wilder pretending to snort coke while Fury was taking during a recent press conference?

Very difficult to call. Fury by the far the better boxer but Wilder has got that leveller (freaky power)

As I heard Wilder say once, for an opponent to beat him they have got to be on it 3 mins a round for 12 rounds, while all he needs is the other fighter to switch off for one second.

Wilder has a strong chin too so he can sit back and just wait for the right moment whereas Fury has to be on alert for Wilder's punch.

Fury will also be aware that he needs to absolutely batter Wilder to get anything other than a loss or draw from the fraud American judges. So he'll be taking chances and swinging more than he did in the last fight.

I can't wait. It should be another classic.

I don’t think Wilder sits and waits for the “one shot”, he knows how slippery Fury is, and if he sits and waits then he might find himself 7 rounds down before he knows where he is- he will know Fury is the better boxer and I think he might go in there and try to blitz Fury right off the bat.

I’m not convinced by Wilder’s power either- yes by today’s standards he’s a wrecking machine, but I reckon a prime Tyson, Lewis & Bowe were undoubtedly more powerful, hell even McCall and Tua had sledgehammers for fists, easily the equal of Wilder.

And I got the wrong fucking date, I thought it was last night, I was all set up for a long night :woot:

Wilder has said himself that he's so confident in his punching power that he doesn't rush into a fights swinging. His last fight against Ortiz was a prime example of him just waiting for the right moment because he knows it will invariably come and his chin is good enough to weather most storms.

Fury could jab the head off any man but he hasn't got the power to knock the likes of Wilder out and he's considerably lighter coming into this fight too so I can't see that changing.

I still think Fury will come through though because he always finds a way and he won the last fight in the eyes of anyone with a bit of sense.

I reckon he's talking shite and is deliberately trying to make Wilder prepare for something that isn't going to happen.

Hasn't he also been saying that he has the right style to win a decision in Vegas as opposed to LA? I didn't read the article in full but thought it seemed the complete opposite of what he'd been saying previously (that he has to knock him out).

I have a suspicion that Fury has/is going off the rails a little and could well get ktfo in this. However if that isn't the case then i expect him to win by decision. Think i've covered the bases there!

It depends what you're judging it on. I don't think Wilder or Fury have really caught the American publics attention so the PPV figures won't touch any of the classic fights.

But for me it's definitely one of the biggest fights in recent years.

I remember the old Benn v Eubank. Holyfield v Tyson, Lewis v Tyson etc. All way bigger than this.
I'm looking forward to it though. Fingers crossed Fury wins.
