My case in point.

Sisu acted poorly
Ccc acted poorly
Wasps have acted poorly

Ccfc and it’s fans have all the consequences and none of the responsibility

Let’s move on. If we can.
If only there was a chant we can sing at games that represents this view...

So no then.... Surely the only proof is in the pudding and them coming out and condemning wasps for the cunts that they are, anything other than that isn't acceptable
It’s probably not useful to refer to them as cunts as it’s not been useful for the trust to boycott home games and work with potential new owners against the current owners and then expect to work with them. Cwr wasps telegraph ccfc ccc and Sisu must know us fans are still wanting to know what’s going on and when we will be back in coventry. Can’t believe certain individuals involved think a 5 min off the record conversation will placate me and us. And I’m not naming names or organisations at this moment in time.

Pete,
Serious question, why the secrecy? I agree that name calling is not the right thing to do (and have never resorted to it) but if there has been some progress in attitudes or thinking why can't it be shared? To most of us looking on there has been no progress.

Tbf it's the only way to describe a parasitic entity such as wasps who force a football club out of their home city and then force numerous people and communities out of a sports complex in an area miles away from their new "home".... I applaud people who can stay level headed about it but I can't any more, and the less said about the trust's efforts the better

Reading between the lines...

Once again, CJ is the only one prepared to engage with other fans & the only one vaguely interested in addressing Wasps & the indemnity. The rest of the Trust have no appetite for it & so nothing will change...

No secrecy and no concrete progress. I’m so sorry though if it feels like nothing has changed. I don’t really know how to play this game. in a sense nothing has changed until something does and I’m in this to do all I can to influence us as a fan base to be United in our calling on all parties without fear or favour to sort out playing at the Ricoh with a sustainable deal for the future

Indiivuduals from the trust and individuals on here have been talking about how we can make some changes long term to fully reflect the wider fan base

Appreciate what you're trying to do and the effort you're putting in, but this shouldn't need to be a complex negotiation; the trust just need to publicly condemn Wasps' stance over the indemnity clause, then we can all move forward from there. Simple and straightforward to do if they have the appetite for it.

I'm sorry mate but they do. The indemnity is the reason we aren't in Coventry this year it's as simple as that. Our trust need to put pressure on wasps to drop it or at least acknowledge it rather than applauding them and then going back to but Sisu whenever the indemnity is mentioned

Watched the Pompey game and the Fleetwood game on my TV service which had the opposing teams radio linked to it. It was an absolute breath of fresh air, yes they were slightly tilted in the oppositions favour as you'd expect but their commentators and pundits were all people in touch with the modern game.

Pompey commentary team were forever going on about how difficult it was playing against our box midfield and what they should be doing to counter it, were calling for the Harison sub at ht which did change the game when he came on.

They mentioned the ground situation and clearly understood what was going on, but most of all they knew all our players names, no Bradley Walsh, no Babayoko and no mention of players passing the ball that had been subbed 20 mins prior.

I appreciate what you're doing Pete but one of the issues we've been having is lack of transparency from the trust. I feel uncomfortable in you getting involved in that and a divide being created between you and the rest of the forum. Whatever discussions take place should be posted on here. Again, it could be in a heavily moderated sub forum so it doesn't result in arguments.

Are you basing that on some evidence and facts? I’m not disagreeing with the sentiment at all and I still strongly feel that there are steps to take and the first one is wasps publicly saying the indemnity doesn’t stop conversation or agreement from being pursued. Pretty sure they’ve said this off the record to many people

Again it's all off the record which is why people don't trust anyone that's the problem. The only person we have heard about the indemnity clause from in the public space is Dave boddy who said it was the reason for the talks breaking down and im sure we can all agree that if it wasn't true wasps would correct it publicly.

Nick Eastwood has said that the complaint to the EU isnt the reason the talks broke down, it's blatantly obvious to anyone with any sense that wasps want this clause because they know they underpaid but why should ccfc cover them for what they did? Why can't the trust or the local media ask this question, that's the frustrating bit
