I wanted to add this to the thread that mentions him but there are so many knocking around at the moment that I couldn't see it.

Saying on the facebook forum that there are still people interested in buying the club but they would want the stadium too.

Probably bullshit but Wasp man Eastwood has certainly put upto 50% of the Ricoh up for grabs makes us a little more attractive

No. He's just suggested that he may be open to sharing some revenue, but I imagine that would mean he wants some of ours.

This is a quote from the Observer.

We would like Coventry City to be playing at the Ricoh Arena and – if that was to happen on the permanent cessation of any legal proceedings – it would be natural to share some commercial activity such as retail and ticketing.”

Byng's got big plans to renovate Highfield Road and win the Simod Cup.
I'll never forgive Steve Sedgely for that semi final penalty miss.

Well that would be a start, better than we have at the moment.

If he has that’s a game changer and makes perfect sense for both clubs. No doubt hastened due to Wasps current plight and their inability to fund themselves. At some point that gravy train runs out and weekly use (and if we get promoted then that’s maybe 17k- 20k through the doors every weekend) becomes a very bright prospect indeed.

How would that work with the 35 million bonds secured against the Ricoh?

With Saracens seemingly relegated and needing to offload players, is there any danger that wasps might pick up a player or 2 in the fire sale ?

Can we stop this? I’m starting to know things about rugby and I have no wish to. I’m sure there’s a rugby forum out there people who want to discuss it can.
