What a sense of embarrassment! Awkward stuff. Still we can beat our landlords for further embarrassment!

I don’t get this? Why? We’re the home team.

Police.

How would you stop Birmingham fans in the home end?

Either that or give Birmingham both tiers in the away end and the old stand. That would be about 10-12k

Think people are making this way more complicated than it needs to be.

We're the home team so we get the Kop stand same as we have for every other game. If we only use one stand what does it matter? Give them all the Merrick and Main stand and keep Tilton Road off sale until we see how sales are going. If there's enough demand from our fans we get them as the home team, if not might as well let them have them.

Would be annoying to be outnumbered but lets face it we could do with the money from a sell out.

Hope your 100% correct

Why are people assuming Birmingham will be able to shift 20K tickets? For them it's a cup tie against a lower league side. Do you really think that many would turn up if we were at the Ricoh and got drawn against Walsall?

How would you stop Cov fans in the home end? Unless there was a legal stipulation in the lease... surely we’re the home team.

Where have you heard that ? Wouldn’t surprise me if that clause had slipped through the net G

Was discussed in the pre match chat on CWR

This has happened before.

Late 90s Stevenage were drawn at home in FA Cup to Birmingham and they switched it to St. Andrews. They had the main stand and other parts of the ground were empty

Certain Police will class it as a Birmingham home game, common sense really. we will get the away end maybe a corner of the kop if needed.

interesting from that thread

EXTRACT FA CUP RULES:

21. DISTRIBUTION OF TICKETS
(a) All Rounds Preceding the Semi-Finals
In all matches preceding the Semi-Finals, the Visiting Club shall have the right to claim up
to 15% (up to a maximum of 9,000) of all accommodation for which tickets are issued
providing these tickets are in a fully segregated area,

That makes the gate a maximum of about 10k, per my previous post it's a terrible terrible draw. Not attractive football wise nor financially.

Do we think this will be moved to a lunchtime KO? I was about to say police might not want us all drinking in town before the game?

Pffffft...I don’t think the police would worry too much...they’re hardly fierce rivals
(Whatta draw though...my twin bro’s a Bluenose who lives in Cov & I’m a City fan who lives in Brum,he reckons there’ll be plenty of tickets & is predicting about 18K)

If their support is a bit quiet, do we sing you're supposed to be at home?
