What happened to the guy who went from the Telegraph to work at Wasps? He didn't last very long there.

Its so easy for the trust, this stuff writes itself.

Just needs a quick press release saying they are very concerned about the number of free tickets being given out by Wasps, reference them being offered 10 at a time on social media for last weekend and all season ticket holders getting 20 for every remaining game, and the potential negative impact on CCFC and other clubs in the city who don't have the resources to match that.

Throw in a mention that they've again broken their promise to not play the same day as CRFC and job done.

You could knock it up in 10 minutes and have it emailed out to everyone.
Are those numbers true?

Yeah, we often get emails from the school. None of the kids give a shit about it any more and they are trying far too hard to push them.

Even a bloke I know who went doesn't bother now even though he can still get freebies. Has no idea about their results.

A friend of mine works in a local school, often have somebody come & dump a box of hundreds of tickets at their Reception. As you say though, they literally can't give them away.

Looks like he now works freelance, he probably still does bits of work for them but given how skint they are it's cheaper to not employ people in such roles.

That same twitter account tweeted something earlier about the latest on wasps financial fraud... however the account now seems to have been deleted

Bit odd. Quite a prolific tweeter so if its voluntary would have expected them to give a heads up or some sort of farewell so looks like someone has had it shut down.
It is strange that all tweets have gone.
Tweets a lot about council and issues related to illegal parking tickets issued etc.
However, in last few days, has gone to town on the council in relation to the guy being removed from the planning panel.
Called a "local Reporter" out for using a disabled blue badge not belonging to them and stated last night that the new year would reveal that the investigation into Wasps book cooking would reveal interesting findings in the new year!
Would not surprise me if somebody with a legal sway may have inboxed the account!!.... the triumvirate of wasps/council/Gilbert probably quite sensitive!!!

Erm, if a twitter account has been removed, the more prosaic answer is they've said something that is untrue / defamatory / libellous.

Doesn’t mean that at all. It just means someone’s or some people have reported it enough times until twitter took action and took the account down. I’m sure it’ll be back with a new account and new twitter handle

It's far more likely that the ridiculous conspiracy theory that somehow masonic deals are being done between the city council, Wasps and twitter.

If they're reporting things without basis, they'll be gone. Some people are so desperate for Wasps to be the uber-baddies tghat there's absolutely no leeway for people who might make up bollocks in an attempot to blacken., Let's not go down that road.

It just takes a few people to report things doesn't it? Doesn't have to be a deal.

It just takes one line to be crossed, and you're banned.

It reflects really rather badly that the assumption is that the truth is being silenced, when it can just as well be the made-up bollocks being silenced.
So which is it? Truth or untruth?
I wouldn’t be surprised if the council and or their associates have gone to work on them as they’ve been plugging away at the council for a long time.
I read last nights spat with a counciller and they reckoned they had evidence that she was being removed.

I'm pretty sure Twitter won't have had time to put in a full investigation and look at evidence.

There are millions of people crossing lines on Twitter every day.

Best we’ve played all season and deserved the win. Beating a very good side when I expected us to go down by 10-15 points. Just need quins and Chiefs to win now

Is it true Wasps Holdings are soon to announce a restructuring and that the property side will be split and the rugby element will be totally stand alone?

What effect will that have Grendel?
Is that a sign of anything?

A sign that Richardson has had enough and is more focussed on making money through property development

Stands behind the goals are closed for most games and have been for well over 12 months

So they have stopped using the stand that the “charity” that helped them gain control of the stadium gets its money from? What a lovely organisation they are.
