They were going on on BBC CW about local businesses being hit by loss of revenue when City aren't at the Ricoh, but also by some gaining by people doing displacement activities (e.g going to the pictures, pub, shopping with the wife :banghead:) instead of attending the footy.
The problem with that is that it isn't just people from Cov going to the football. There are loads like me that travel a fair distance to home games, away fans, even people from Bedworth, Warwick etc. if they go to football the money will be spend in Birmingham if they don't it will be spent outside CCC's area.

Exactly.

How many city fans will go to the brewery if there are no city games? Maybe these businesses should have thought about saying something while Wasps were playing silly buggers with discussions?

Maybe the local businesses can start a petition to present to (Wasps/SISU) to get them to (restart/continue) the (stalled/non-stalled) talks - delete as appropriate to your point of view or whose statement you believe!!!

Notice the CT article "many fans Divided over season tickets for St Andrews" read the fans responses that the CT allowed us to see very vitriolic some of the fans must have taken them ages to sift through them :banghead::banghead: to come up with a balanced view that they represented to their readers:joyful::joyful:

I can't bring myself to do it - it makes me too annoyed at how people can be so blind!

No, we'd have been liquidated and expelled from the league - Evans had no money to invest or even keep the ship steady.

Wrong the club would most likely have been run on similar financial terms to how it is under SISU. Wouldn’t be facing a second humiliating ground share in 5 years and dare I say wouldn’t have the insects here at all had they taken over soon enough.

Where would the club's cash flow requirements have come from? You're not stupid i find it mental how you think Dale Evans would have been a competent leader?

Does anyone know if the club might run supporters coaches to get us to Brum, then I could get a season ticket?

Ok thanks, maybe their waiting for the fixtures to be released

Probably. Also they'll need to speak to coach providers. Unfortunately due to St. Andrew's being announced half way through June those within the club are under pressure to sort about five things at once at the moment. So, you may want to send an email in or contact them on Twitter to give them a gentle reminder.

They're looking into it I believe. Think more information is going to come out about that either next week or the week after.
How much will they charge? Been ripping fans off with the official coaches all season so would likely be at least £10. Wasn’t it £15 to go to Walsall?

They weren't running it themselves, was being run by the events team from the Ricoh. Would assume if they run them someone else will be doing it now.

Indeed. Prices were a right rip off. It’s needs to be more sensible as again it won’t help what with the ground share etc to entice people to go.

Just seen this from the Southam supporters club if people are looking for travel from that area-

Evening all,

Just to confirm that our Supporters Club WILL be looking a running coaches to the games at St Andrews (providing we have enough interest).

This will be priced at £12 per person per game.
