Chelsea interest in Callum Wilson (1 Viewer)

Everyone saying 'madness' about the cost of players. That's the going rate and what people are willing to pay.
Madness can only be used when a pint is more than a fiver.

Or when you go in Wetherspoons and see that Doom Bar is only £1.99 a pint. It works both ways.

It's great for him if he does get a move. In my opinion he'd get more game time at Chelsea so that would be a better move for him. I fear he'd end up getting benched at any top club but he's got to give it a crack if the opportunity is there.

I presume we are due a sell on fee percentage if he leaves Ballmouth?

They’ve just signed Dominic Solanke for 19M which looks to me like a move to cover themselves for when Callum leaves.

Press say its to cover Defoe exit but it I don’t think Solanke would accept another bench warming role.

Not sure where here is for you. I had a bottle of Peroni in one of the Cathedral lanes places, can't remember which one. £6.75!
Had to order 4 more to get over it.

That’s horrendous. I bought a pint in a place in Kenilworth last week at it was £5.50

If I was Wilson and there was half a chance of a Liverpool move I’d hitch hike up the M6 if I had to, top team, established top manager most patient fans in football I think the team and how Klopp has them playing would suit him down to the ground.

Everything is pointing to a Liverpool move for Callum Wilson.
If the interest is there he’d be mad not to go and particularly as he knows it will benefit us.

Yep-they have also got Clyne on loan too.

They'd have to pay me to drink Doom Bar! Shite generic ale.

Especially compared to the £2.15 selection of quality ales (6-7 in City Arms) that change regularly.

All the best to Wilson if he gets a move to a top 4-6 side, deserves it with what he's been through.

A friend of mine close to the club in Bournemouth said there is talk of Chelsea offering Loftus-Cheek and Abraham for Wilson. Not sure how that would affect us if no actual fee involved, although would obviously be a big-money deal.

Chelsea willing to pay up to 50m for Wilson if they cannot convince Higuain to join them.

Would that be £5million for us potentially?

He'll never get in Chelsea's first team. He'll be warming the bench or get loaned out.

Friend's wedding, ordered a Southern Comfort and Coke for myself. Friend came in with about 25 of his family / friends. Being mildly intoxicated I asked if anybody wanted a drink. Thankfully they all got their own, given my Southern Comfort and Coke was £8.75.

Would have had to sell a kidney to get home!

I went to one at a social club, stopped off for one on our way back from somewhere.

Ordered a snakebite and black, large wine and a J20 and was under a fiver. Safe to say we made ourselves comfortable and got involved.

They are the future and overlooked by people being pretentious!
