Wasps on the up? I hope not! (1 Viewer)

How many families go to watch football every week compared to rugby?

Why didn't all the families that went to the Christmas wasps game go to the next one?
I don't know Nick...ypu seem to have all the answers though - YOU tell me

Maybe all the kids were scared? Maybe there weren't free tickets? Maybe there weren't any fireworks?

You are the one in the know about football and rugby attendances aren't you?

Should probably stick to the EU thread.

It's looking more and more desperate. The same as he completely ignores people who take their kids every week and doesn't have a clue about particular games referred to.

Will be interesting to see him explain the drop in attendance for their next game. Especially with the offer they had for kids...
Lol...not sure why you are becoming obsessed about what seems an attempt to discredit what I observed, and observe not week in week out at both rugby & football - but often enough to make the observation. Nothing you say will change what I have experienced at both sports on matchdays - but go ahead...say what you like

Obsessed, weren't you the one who bumped the thread as if you were replying to emails after a Christmas break. You seem more intent about discussing ccfc fans bad and wasps fans lovely in this thread then you have on anything else bar the Brexit thread.

You have had people with kids reply to you, you didn't seem to be at the game full of families and kids that I referred to.

Maybe you could listen to what people who take their kids week in week out have to say? Rather then becoming an expert based on your wasps freebie.

Well yes, I haven't said poor behaviour doesn't happen at all, ever...but again - it is for Internationals...it is unacceptable & I have never observed any of it at any games I have been to.

Maybe it's just the way society is going? This kind of thing infiltrates everything to a degree. Doesn't alter my original observation.

Suspect anything not absolutely anti-Wasps means ypu get lambasted on SBT lol

Maybe because you are seemingly anti football is probably the issue. Even more so when you choose to ignore those who go week in week out.

You just Ignore everybody else to base it on your own observations but when asked about particular games you can't comment.

Ok then.

Didn't say I was expert...but thanks for the accolade. FYI...I did take a proper break over Xmas - not sure what you're on about 'bumping' the thread?
Not Wasps fans specifically Nick...RUGBY FANS! Although I think I have seen Wasps play about half a dozen games over the relatively few years I've watched Rugby & not noted any bad behaviour among their fans. Have you?

And for the record I haven't ignored the parents that choose to go watch CCFC either!

I mean you bumped the thread specifically.

Yes I've been to loads of rugby and they are all horrible men who get drunk and swear which is why the wasps attendance halved. *

*That's pretty much how you sound, even more so when you haven't got the foggiest when people with kids point things out to you about things / games you have no idea about and you choose to ignore it still.

I've tried to discuss ccfc games with you but you haven't the foggiest about them.

You aren't being shouted down, you are being corrected over and over again.

You are trying to preach about why families with young kids don't go to games you don't go to either to people with young kids who do go to those games.

You have had a free ticket and started obsessing over this thread instead of the EU thread. How many games have ccfc played in the meantime?

Yes...'Welsh rugby' again...internationals

You just said it was rugby fans and not just wasps fans that were nice. Make up your mind, is it just domestic rugby fans then?

I can't keep up the way you keep moving the posts.

What is this 'bumped' ffs???

As for everything else - it appears more effort to discredit.

I went to a Rugby game once where they ran out of pasties. It's sickening that this happens up and down the country at every single game and Rugby fans don't turn up anymore because of the pastie problem.

Maybe Google it? It's one of the reasons you look so desperate.

So let me get it straight, you are trying to tell people who go to games every week (that you don't) about the behaviour at said games.

Who's trying hard here out of everybody?

No Nick - you are trying to tell me I am.

Now we aren't likely to agree on this, and I have better things to do.

I shall continue to go watch football and rugby as and when and where I like. You can too.

Fair enough...I can't change what I observed when I went!

So, you are speaking on behalf of people with young kids as to why they won't go to football based on you going to a game with thousands of free tickets and firework show as a comparison?

You said it was nothing to do with free tickets and it's because there is no nasty people like at football games but you won't answer why the attendance halved the next game?

You have things better to do than to go back onto a football forum to explain why Rugby and Wasps fans are great and discuss Brexit, completely ignoring things to do with football. That makes a lot of sense.

I see our community day is estimated at over 20,000 already. It's good that families fill up the north stand at every game without fear of violence.

He won't have the foggiest about that, the same as when I pointed out ours and how that was comparable to the Wasps one off big game.

"I wasnt there so cant comment" while commenting over and over about people being scared to take their kids.

But will we have fireworks though?

No, he won't be there so won't be able to comment. It will just be an assumption that the kids were all assaulted in one way or another.

There will be radio silence until his next wasps freebie when he decides to go into overdrive and bump threads.

No there won't - I don't envisage getting another freebie.

As for kids being assaulted - I have no idea where you got that from. You're a bit mad. And a WUM.

I guess your hate of all things Wasps stems from the franchise argument? Why you dislike anything not negative about Wasps as a rugby club is every bit as narrow minded as you seem to be levelling at me.

You are the WUM. Have a look through your post history, it's either this (which you came back on bump) or the Brexit thread for you. How about you post about CCFC on a CCFC forum, there's an idea?

You have tried to come on here and have been corrected and shown to be wrong on almost everything you have tried to push. From no violence in rugby to Wasps average attendance.

My hate of Wasps is people like you to be honest. I don't doubt there are loads of decent rugby fans who don't seem to think they are above everybody else. Far too many have gone from "football fans" to "rugby fans" and think now they should get a tweed jacket and be superior.

...and...I don't put myself out to go to any game just because of it being a 'Community Day' Mr Snidey-Pants. I am not part of the community. I live 135miles away...so any game other than Pompey at the moment is an away game for me. That does mean I don't attend as often as you might, certainly less often than I'd like - that will probably get me your applause as well
