Lee Burge love him or hate him - I personally think has the makings of a really good keeper - why should anyone be surprised? league 2 goalkeeper of the season last season - has had an impressive season this season (with the odd cock up notably Walsall) - all goalkeepers cock up just look at the highlights of the Premiership every week and the top goalkeepers all make plenty of basic errors - I have it on good authority from a player at another league club that a number of championship clubs and higher have him on their agenda for January

"Good authority". That source which has served us so well in the past.
Does sound a bit corny ' I have it on good authority' and can understand peoples comments but apparently, clubs have been watching his progress for some time - let's see what happens - not long to wait

I'm not being funny but I imagine every player at every club in the football league are 'on people's radars'

League 2 keeper of last season and various managers commenting on him at the end of last season. He's out of contract and one I'd very much like to keep.

They are on free fall good chance of playing them next season or even by-pass them if we get lucky

They’ve been relying on a loan keeper for two seasons so it could be a possibility.

It would be a problem as we’d have to at least have a short term solution for the rest of the season but it’s hardky a huge loss in the long term

You can never admit you may have been hasty can you? I think he’d be a loss. He’s an excellent young keeper with potential now. Why shouldn’t we have the advantage of him having learnt from his previous errors!!

I'd rather he stayed for sure.

Unless of course we have someone seemingly better lined up.

Nope. He does stay rooted to his line a lot at corners though I have noticed
This is always his reaction to dropping a bollock. Stay rooted. Look at that early chance for Southend from a corner that was headed over. The ball was about two yards from the goal line, he should be at least punching it.

I don't believe Burge is going anywhere, well not this season anyway, and if he was ,the only one lined up to take his place would be O'Brien

It’s hardly hasty. We’ve wasted 3 seasons at least with having one of the worst keepers in the league and now his debatably competant at the level we are in he’s hardky a loss like a 20 goal striker is he?

Well one would think they would have targets themselves - if he goes then that is just the natural food chain in play again sadly, what I wouldn't want to see is him replaced by a young keeper on loan as such, would prefer somebody more experienced but thats just my opinion!!

Your comment above is okay as long as there is a worthy replacement
There lies the problem.

Yeah, that was what I was saying in Saturday when it happened. He should have come for it.
