I really don't know enough about this! but don't owners have to be FIT and PROPER and act in best interests of the football club.
Surely is there not enough evidence to show huge mismanagement! theres got be a way of severing all ties with them.
They can't demand sisu drop any legals, they can't demand wasps do a deal. The minute they say "drop the legals or we kick you out the league" is the minute they open up a whole world of shit for themselves.

If they can find any illegal activity that would be a different matter. Legally, sisu can keep doing the legal stuff as they are entitled to. It's stupid but the EFL can't get involved there surely?

They've reduced costs, got a widely admired academy, and got the club its first top six finish and promotion in a generation, along with winning a trophy at Wembley.

We're currently being managed better than ever before(!)

That's exactly what they will put across to the EFL as well. No doubt somebody will miss your point and think you are defending them!

People keep shouting about the EFL, what do they actually think they can or will do about?

The statement is saying they have no choice as it's forced by shareholders though?

Which you have agreed with. They have no choice, but you made out it wasn't true?
You could say the same about Wasps everything they do will be shareholder driven!

In what way have they mismanaged the club from an EFL perspective?

An unlikely promotion this season could be very timely indeed!

I was genuinely shocked how apathetic the city was to us last time. Now you could argue that's... our fault (collectively, not me and you!). After all, Charlton managed to exert influence to get the Valley back etc. However, it's still inescapable that the Ricoh candidate got sod all votes (again, you could argue the campaign wasn't well run, but it's still the only evidence we have!)

Like it or not, some of the apathetic fans would go and see Wasps if we weren't about, just for something to do. Like it or not, we're rivals for the 'leisure' part of a support, and the longer Wasps are here, the less they'll care about antagonising us as fans. I said from the start, they're probably better off without rivals for support in the city.

It's also, incidentally, why I do think it has the potential to be us or them regardless of this current Round of Joy...

A championship side would be more likely to raise an uproar definitely. But do you want to bet on that?

I’ll be honest I don’t know enough about rugby to comment on Wasps. I went once, I didn’t understand it and found it quite dull (apart from the free flag) I won’t go again. Not sure what the crossover is between the fans. If there’s no overlap the. They probably won’t care as there’s not many of us to raise a PR stink. If there is an overlap it’s probably people who aren’t frothing at the mouth about a Wasps already so won’t be too bothered.

Maybe I’m just being pessimistic but historically it’s done me well when it comes to CCFC.

The thing is, the majority of the wasps fans I've read giving it loads or being dicks are the ones who seem to have only been fans since they moved.

I'm not sure if it's some strange method of protesting as if it's a moral high ground that they now support wasps and not ccfc. Seemingly quite smug about it

They are the ones who i have no qualms of annoying

there's no doubt the majority of them will just want to watch a game of rugby. There will also be fans with generations of wasps fans through they family etc

Rightly or wrongly Wasps now own the ground and unless we dance to their tune we won’t be invited to the party.

Wrongly.

In reality, what can the FA / EFL actually do about it? People will always shout about them, but what can they do?
Keep taking the money and keeping their ear defenders in.
Guttless.

One suggestion to highlight our plight is to protest at a Wasps fixture, and I mean a big protest with several thousand in the Ricoh. This would get attention in the national press.
Several Thousand that's a joke you'd lucky to get just several.
4 Turned up last time.

Sorry if it’s been mentioned but isn’t this asking for it to be appealed not Sisu going through the whole malarkey again? So the courts could say no and then Sisu go another direction.

Wasps force us out and upsetting the people of Coventry would mean the end of wasps in Coventry in my opinion, they would piss off a lot more fans than they themselves have. The insects will be stopped!!!!

Why would you care you wouldn't take part anyway.

Why can’t we show anti wasp sentiment at ccfc games and the trust agree all media statements will be targeted against wasps?

Wouldn't know TBH.
I have never been mad at the club only the owners. ( dont see fisher as part of the club)
I might write some shit at times in the heat of the moment, but only because I care about the Club.

Give you a like for that but it looks as if your phone automatically added "at times"?

What's the point at ccfc games?
That's the thing people expect the naughty corner to start off all this anti stuff, but when things turn they then wash their hands of them and say they lost us the game they are a disgrace, ban them.

Reference the Golden Share. In my opinion the EFL is being gutless inasmuch that it has not recognized that Otium is not acting in the best interests of CCFC and should be threatening to remove the Golden Share from Otium, particularly as Otium has not provided evidence of where the club will fulfil its future fixtures after 2018/19 season. Why isn't the EFL taking action ?

The fight the fans had against anyone has all but gone people have given up.
Most of the organisers of most of the actions taken no longer go to games, Don't see anyone stepping up to take over, won't just happen on its own.

Any Takers?

I think the biggest impression that could be set is how much everybody loves ccfc. For starters no ccfc fan should disagree and secondly that's when it gets the biggest following. May not change anything but it's the only thing that would every bring fans together.

I'm all for slating wasps (won't try and hide that) but not sure what a song at one of our games would do.

Most people in here would rather the club die so they can laugh at Joyless and Timmy Fishface - oh and perhaps cadge a few wasps free tickets

I'm more worried that people might start pushing that line again so the fans can pick it up.

Because as the time nears the end the media will become aware. A sit in with “wasps are removing our club” would not be want wasps want to see

Can someone please explain to me the position of Tim Fisher ? Is he both chairman (or equivalent) of Coventry City and the one and only shareholder of Otium, who are effectively taking Wasps back to court and in doing so threatening the very existence of Coventry City ?. Surely that can't be right, because if so he has a massive conflict of interest. Shouldn't he nail his colours to the mast one way or another ? If he chose to step aside from Otium and remain in his CCFC role at least it would show some kind of commitment.
This club is a complete basket case .

Agree that the media stuff would probably work but must be better ways than at our games?
