When we're up at half-time, you'd think we'd anticipate they are going to come at us in the second-half and be ready with a plan.

Think we've just been a bit naive in this and the Bradford game. A bit of profligate finishing and we've ended up being dragged down to the oppositions chaotic level instead of sticking to our own successful game plan. Good news though that we held on and got decent mins into the subs legs today, and boy did they look like they needed it.

Fuck me!! what the hell happened that 2nd half. Hearts still going 10 to the dozen. Donny will do well this season if they keep playing like that. Anyway 5-5 PUSB

Inclined to say that robins nearly lost us that second hslf. You cant set out to simply hold the line for so long before then taking it to the opposition.

We had to take Chaplin off as he was injured. That meant the front ball failed to stick. JCH needs to find a better touch though he was better today. Kelly did not improve us in the middle and Ogogo was pointless. Thomas and Bayliss looked worn out so we need a better plan when we need to shore up the game. Jones needs minutes. Don't know why he did not run to the corner on that breakaway. Our two central defenders are quite magnificent. Brown had a game of two parts, good and bad!
Well can we gather ourselves for 6 in a row?

Funny when Burge has more touches in the second half than your boyfriend

Why did you say he made a save - is that what the radio said?

I hope from now on if we are 2 up and attack is working. we come out the second half to try and smash 2 more in.

All in all. we won and have constructive criticism so things to work on not doing.

Good teams find a way to win, when not playing to their capabilities.

Brilliant form.

Upward momentum is building.

Could be another great season.

Well done to all, we need to take a deep breath and give credit to Doncaster who went for it. They deserved a draw, got nothing and I am delighted with that.
We have to remember there are two teams out there and they had a go, they were on the front foot yet we saw the game out.
Fans look for the perfect game and this wasn't it.

Poor second half.

Just as he did in the Bradford game, Robins went too deep and negative. Luckily, in both games, the opposition were too poor to capitalise.

First half Donny were all over the place and it should have been 3 or 4, but 2 well taken goals and I thought it'd be relatively comfortable second half. Not so as Robins decides to camp in our half and absorb pressure. At times it was almost like we were willing them to score which they did when given acres of space in the box. How we held on I don't quite know but thankfully so and hopefully Robins has learnt his lesson from a series of close shaves at the death.
