Will they be fit for the start of the season though? Every game matters and we can't afford to get off to a poor start because half our squad isn't fit. If today's line-up was our line-up vs Scunthorpe then I'd be very concerned. Season starts in 10 days and we can't put our strongest XI out for a pre-season game yet? Not exactly great, is it?

Before McNulty was sold we were told Robins wanted another striker so it's hardly madness to suggest that he may now want 2 strikers and that he's not counting Beavon either.

I agree it's not ideal. but that's football - you can't expect the manager to sign new players just to cover short-term injuries. Anyway, Sterling and Bayliss are not injured - they should be available on Saturday.
TBF he has said twice he's after "one, two, or three". Whether that happens is a different matter but thats what he's stated he's after.
