Opposite type of player to Chaplin he’s more like JCH or Biamou, Stockley is 6’ 3” plus while Chaplin is 5’7” or thereabouts.

With Marriot now gone to Derby from Posh, perhaps it will start a striker merry-go-round!!
Fookin hope so.
Edit, only agreed the fee, hasn't signed as yet.

he was supposed to be in Ryton yesterday but it turned out he was at a fans forum in Exeter[/QUOTE

Perhaps they have two of the same player, making it easier for us to sign one of them?

Exactly the player I would be looking at too.
Bristol City 'only' paid £300k for him , so any wage shortfall could be sorted by money we'd save on transfer fee (compared with Chaplin)
Don't think he fits the bill in terms of the type of player we could add value to though, which seems to be a requirement.

However, if we are looking at a short term fix to McNulty's departure, we could do far worse. Taylor scored 16 goals in just 27 appearances in League 1 in 2016-17 before City snapped him up...

Think it will be clubs above us, Pompey using the Chaplin fee.

It's a lot considering he's out of contract in the summer!
