No, I really do. I'm looking forward to seeing how he is going to set the team up and how the new players do.

Obviously the result doesn't matter in the slightest compared to England, but still more excited about CCFC.

Was asked the other day if I'd rather England win the world cup or city get promoted, and definitely the latter (although both would be nice). Can't get excited about friendlies though. Just half-paced kickabouts that tell us nothing really.

It's not so much that it's a friendly. It's more the new players and seeing (hearing) how they do, same when we sign new players and they make their debut during the season. Same with seeing how Mark Robins tries to line is up with the new players.

The England game is more meaningful of course.
