Know it's a friendly but needs a thread
I am going so can provide updates if required
IF required? IF?
It's bloody compulsory!!!!
Ill take on my updating debut then!
Nice one, let us know if the new players look any good
I believe there’s a max Biamou up front
SW88 will be there for us too ..
Yep, I’m there, if you want me to show you how it’s done @Garryb80 we Need someone to take over at the helm for league games
It’s one of the few friendlies I can do!
Reckon I’m gonna struggle to know who all our signings are!! Well not by seeing them, I can recognise a new face, but their names might cause me a few problems
Shall we agree on code names
Big hair attack and big hair defence will do it
Will City be there, according to CCFC web site it still says 3pm kick off. Sutton have moved it forward to 1pm, I wonder why!
Big game on in their club house after the game. I’ll be there too
Going to need a tactic of some sort!
I’ll be the one wearing a Cov shirt if you want to come and say hi
Just enough time to change your shirt!
Not too many scoops if you're driving home later!
He can't win. If he bangs in a hat trick, Grendel will say it's just non league opposition and if he doesn't score, Grendel will say it proves how crap he is.
Would he celebrate a goal against them?
No injuries on that all weather pitch please! (It is the all weather one isn't it?)
be interesting to see what system he goes with
Quite excited still. Lots of new players to enjoy seeing in action
I'm more excited than the England match
I presume you have either the Scottish, Welsh or Irish ancestry
Nope. Just prefer ccfc.
Air conditioned bar for the england game.. Good start
Scottish on fathers side, Welsh on mothers. So I'm supporting the referee
I'm definitely club before country, but think you're being a bit mischievous there Nick. You can't possibly mean that!
No, I really do. I'm looking forward to seeing how he is going to set the team up and how the new players do.
Obviously the result doesn't matter in the slightest compared to England, but still more excited about CCFC.
Relying on you fellas at the game
Was asked the other day if I'd rather England win the world cup or city get promoted, and definitely the latter (although both would be nice). Can't get excited about friendlies though. Just half-paced kickabouts that tell us nothing really.
The head of Marketing & Communications isn't exactly spoilt with his choice of car, is he...
It's not so much that it's a friendly. It's more the new players and seeing (hearing) how they do, same when we sign new players and they make their debut during the season. Same with seeing how Mark Robins tries to line is up with the new players.
The England game is more meaningful of course.
Forget what a car park the m25 can be! Just got here after leaving at 9.15, although did include a trip down memory lane, stopping off at Beaconsfield services as we did for Wembley (when you got to pee you got to pee!)
