Btw, Tom Pope, bigger stronger better striker than Max, never got a kick or sniff at goal all game. So not defending Max happens to the best of them in this division.

I agree with the majority of comments recently on here, I’m afraid the we were totally carrying him at Port Vale,

He needs to be taken out the limelight now, MR will make the right decision just one too many games for him vs Vale. He’s ok when he olds it up, wins headers, etc and when the result is positive.

I have been one of his biggest backers as I thought(hoped) the kid would come good.

But as we now approach the business end of the of the season, we cannot afford to carry anyone and need to improve drastically in one or two positions and need someone to hold it up and keep the ball up front.

This is where I am with him. I've been ridiculed by mates for how much I've backed him, but as peope seem to be saying his appearances are improving, I don't see it, and think he's actually offering less.

His confidence seems very low at the minute, every time he misses a sitter (and there have been a few lately) his head drops and he's doesnt get himself involved in any of the action afterwards for a while.

Personally think he needs resting, for his own sake, as much as the teams. However, it can't be argued that Mcnulty looks more dangerous when alongside him, than he has partnered with anyone else.

As for the rumours of him leaving in Jan. I can't understand who would want him in L2, and I cant imagine he would want to drop down a level so soon after making the step up to Full-time football

He was getting better and having a lot of input into games, the last 2 he hasn't had a sniff though so I don't agree with those. There have been games he has won everything in the air and won tackles from the front etc. We did get worse after he went off at Port Vale, but we never looked like scoring either.

I agree, but for me he's been getting progressively less effective, and beginning to look very leggy. Instead of the tackles he was winning from the front, he's now giving away silly niggly fouls, and inviting pressure on to us.

Yep, the last couple of games he hasn't really been in it.

Said after the Luton game it was weird to try and figure out a position for him, he picked out 2 great passes and when he has the ball at his feet he doesn't really give the ball away that much.

Dare I say it, if we struggle for right wing either him or Beavon might be worth a shout. We could do the same as we do with Vincenti when we hit the longfield passes his way to flick inside for the strikers (Duck and McNulty).

Ponticelli isn't ready yet but looks far more purposeful. No one in league 2 would look look at Biamou twice.

This is probably really over-thinking things and way off the mark but:

Note the sutton manager's tweet, that reads about signing a former player / somebody he has worked with.

Dos has got his men! | Amber Planet

We can but dream. Unfortunately I doubt this means MB is off back to Sutton.

Never saw him play today, when I have seen him playing useless , so if he played ok fair play to him, when I see him again and if he is useless I will call it as I see it .

Clueless fans who can’t see what Biamou offers us upfront.

As long as he contribution is like that and we win. I don’t care if he never scores another goal again.!

Superb.
