We've got a TV on here watching it but there's more excitement watching us play.
Its more concerning to me the people he's appointing to top jobs. The confirmation hearings have really exposed how unsuitable his picks are, they can't even answer the most basic questions.
He can't keep his hands off Obama can he? Constantly touching him!
I keep swinging between "Someone assassinate him now" and "Better to let him crash and burn so people know never to do this again"
It's a lot like my feelings on Jeremy Corbyn.
I got in about 5.15 to witness the final speeches, I only wanted to watch the kids/youth band from Tupelo performing (with the off chance of the flugelhornist hoiking his/her instrument in the direction of the comb overed one)Well one divisive speech. Can anyone really believe he is going to be good for the world?

So you believe people who go against your views should be shot dead.
Fantastic.
That's what you got from that?
Sorry I insulted your tiny handed king. Please don't send the brownshirts after me. Hail Putin.

He's clearly being light hearted. Have a day off.So you believe people who go against your views should be shot dead.

But at the same time...the people fearful of Trump have sat back & watched Putin's Russian venture into the Crimea, Ukraine, Syria & subtly probe into various other nations.
Sounds like you don't know much about Trump.I really can't understand the over the top reaction over here against him. He is certainly no worse and is considerably brighter than Bush but there was a much lesser reaction to his appointment. Sure we've been spoilt with Obama a genuine proper statesman but let's not pretend he liked the UK. Trump is many things and an easy figure to hate, says stupid iresponsible things and a poor choice (not that hiplary was any better) but he's here he's not leaving and I'd rather have him as a friend than an enemy. He's done ok in business so if he runs the country like a business I'm certain they'll thrive.

He had a great start with $1M given to him but turned that into an empire - plenty had that start and blown it. I accept that you might not like him but to say the guy hasn't been successful is insane!Sounds like you don't know much about Trump.
If you are a white heterosexual male who has money you should be OK. If not then you need to be worried.
He is totally against immigration. But his grandfather came from Germany. His maternal side are British.
You say about his business sense. All built by his father and grandfather. His father built it on corruption. And look at how Trump continued.
Yeah good bloke and good morals :wideyed:
In the final week of campaigning when the FBI said there were thousands more Clinton emails to investigate, he was all over it. Then a few days later the feds said there was nothing more to probe he went crazy, slagging off the security agencies he is now reliant on to keep him safe.Think there will be more delegating than there's ever been. Everyone seems to 'know someone' who can help them do the job they're supposed to be doing.
Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't see his first term out. Suspect he never thought he would actually win and its sinking in how much work he's got to do. Its like a joke that's got out of hand.

Also why should he support mass immigration just because his ancestory was part of it once? I know a number of affluent 2nd and 3rd generation Indians and West Indians through neighbourhood and work who strongly oppose the idea if uk mass immigration. Are you saying they are wrong and their opinion not relevant simply because they can't trace their uk ancestory past the Romans?
they're massive hypocrites though aren't they?
Not really no (imo). Like anyone else around the world they didn't choose where to be born. If the people who moved here were opposed to it that's different, but as uk citizens their views as important us mine or yours and they have the right to hold them. If you go back far enough we're probably all immigrants and whilst you might disagree with me, you wouldn't call me a hypocrite, so the same should stand.
I saw that piece the day before his coronation, they were marching up the street in rehearsal. I just wanted to see (if at all) how many bum notes were deliberately thrown in the performance. The Beeb interviewed them and only two of the band liked Trump. The rest didn't care for him at all, but we're going for the day out.
