Anyone know off hand the cost of the rocket + damages to infrastructure?

$150m for the rocket and launch... cant get a price for the launch pad but at a guess $20-30m. Compare that to space x at $90-100m per launch, once they perfect and mass produce the starship and booster cost comes down to just over $1m. Madness

Test Flight 13, Thursday 16th with the launch window starting at 23:45. The issues have been rectified from Test Flight 12 so hopefully everything goes to plan this time. If so, they will catch Starship on the next one

So the launch failure was due to some engines not igniting so the emergency shut down kicked in. The Ship and Booster are fine but some engines may need to be replaced. Could be afew days before relaunch!

Wonder what the odds were of this happening, considering the length of time and how many orbits the moon would have made.

Most stocks do after the initial hype... as soon as they catch the ship and booster they will be sky high again

Went over to Draycott Water to see it in a bit of peace and quiet. Nothing like 1999 when I drove to Polperro in Cornwall

Anyone watch the meteor shower?

I looked from my back garden just after 12 last night and caught a few glimpses of shooting stars but living in a town with lots of light pollution it really was the shortest of glimpses. Apparently it really got going a couple of hours later.

Wanted to but wasn't staying up that late. Had my last look just gone half 12 but didn't spot anything.

No, I enjoy cycling a few laps too, it's been closed on and for quite a while, I'll look into it!
