They need to come out against London Wasps
Just a question- what role did Wasps play in the current situation of Coventry City? Did they force the move to Northampton, Did they try to distress a charity? did they say they were looking for a new ground and training academy and proclaim it will be within 3 years? No, they came in and bought and paid for what should have been ours but sadly never happened because we never sought to build relationships, just destroy them.
What Wasps have done other than look after their own interests and frankly that is something our owners should have contemplated rather than playing a game of brinkmanship with the council.
Wasps will do just fine without Coventry City and their 100,000, can we really say the same? There will be a time when we will be grovelling at their door.

Surely our owners did by moving to Northampton?

I find it somewhat baffling to say that a team that moves its operation miles is accepted as looking after its own interests.

Let's plan the move to Belfast, as we speak.

I really dont give a shit about Wasps, they looked after their interests and moved to Coventry(fact, how can that be baffling?), Our owners thought they were the only party in town, well that worked out well didn't it?

Who's interests did they look after? The fans' or the owners'?

Fortunately it's a minority who have this kind of bizarre take. Even those who think it should be dropped, and we should work with them, can at least see the madness in endorsing clubs moving miles from their home.

Thing is, this minority are the most pro-SISU you could get on this board as a result.

I'm baffled by how the hell you can't see how that affects us, and how you're endorsing us buggering off to wherever by so doing.

Seriously, talk about one-eyed vision!
I am not endorsing anything, I am stating the position we are in, not Wasps situation, as stated previously, I am not interested in Wasps in any way shape or form.

All I am is pro Coventry City, I am not in any way anti Wasps, they are not on my radar.
I have never, repeat, never said anything positive regarding sisu and find it strange that you can turn me saying that I dont blame Wasps for our predicament in to being pro sisu.

None of those that moaned the most turned up.
Not Fucking One.

The End.

I didn't know about that one, what was it? It wasn't waving wasps flags about was it? ;)

you are legitimising any attempt by sisu to move us out of Coventry again.
I'm not saying they will, or that they have even considered it, but you're saying it would be OK if they did.

We always welcome feedback and currently have a couple of spots on the board for anyone that wants to stand for election. There's an open meeting on 21st November at the Royal Warwicks Club in the City. We're hoping to have a speaker who could be of some interest.
I see Canley's finest Mr Gilbert is attending. Were you hoping for someone different?

It's strange though, why wouldn't they have Fisher there but get gilbert up and speaking?

It's a bit predictable and can be seen a mile off.
Yeah, they need to say whether they have invited him to attend a meeting, and what the response was. If they haven't asked, well, that would be a poor effort. I am not however putting myself forward to help run the trust, my skills are more based around sarcasm, and criticising.

Going for the CCFC chairmanship instead then, eh?

I have no idea but maybe they have or haven't, pretty sure he told CWR he'd be on some time around now.

Let's face it, it'll become an over-hyped drama-thon whether they did or didn't, won't it.

Personally if I were the trust and, based on the SCG minutes, I'd be doing it by the book, inviting him, but making sure I'd reported I invited him rather than just leave open to a he-said, she-said situation. Maybe the next SCG meeting is the time to extend the invite, so that the club itself can minute it.

You would think if he turned it down it would be in the paper by now though? ;)
