Chris Anderson out of his depth? I'd say the trust are too. So far all we have is them saying we're launching a campaign and they want people to talk. Before you know it the council will have approved it and it will all be down to SISU.

Wasps are the heroes right? Eternally grateful they will let us use the academy built for us after 3pm? All because SISU are useless, it's ok.

That's not the case and far from it, all I am trying to say is in July 2017 we no longer have an Academy.
While we either plan a move, build our own, divert to Cat 3 or fold the whole thing we need a home to keep things going what other options do we have?.

Having looked at the planning application etc there is still room at the Higgs Centre for both Wasps and CCFC but if the academy is truly important to CCFC they may have to compromise and rearrange some of it by using pitches at Ryton or Warwick Uni - there is nothing in the FA directive on Academies that states that all facilities have to be on one site. Yes its not ideal and it may seem unfair that the club is having to do these things but surely they need to face reality and actually having an academy is more important than refusing to discuss the mater because someone hasn't put it in writing. The only way to save the Academy is for the club, Wasps and CSF to work together, think laterally a bit and come up with a solution that is acceptable to all and keeps the academy going. That maybe using the kicking barn in afternoons, using pitches at Ryton/Warwick Uni even Ricoh for bigger U18 matches/ classrooms at ryton etc. Once a solution has been agreed then put it in writing but before that explore every possible avenue. As I keep saying this is too important an issue for anyone to be using the future of our academy and thereby our club as a political football.

And yes we should talk to wasps to see if they can offer us something that meets FA requirements, but in the meantime we should be trying (even if its in vein) to stop the build going ahead.

Well actually the fella from Wasps says he did get a response, he was told by Chris Anderson 'NO' because it wasn't in writing!! Fuckin pathetic, they are acting like school kids when they should just be getting around a table and talk like adults!!

Smacks of the offer ACL made through the FL that kept being denied as being made until David Conn IIRC got the FL to confirm that it had indeed been made and then the tune changed to no direct offer has been made.

What is it they say about doing the same things expecting different results?

Anybody knows that SMS is old hat, if you want something to be read and be able to prove as such, it's WHATSAPP all the way. Tsk, these so-called professionals don't know they're born.

Yet this is exactly what is happening. Rather than fighting it as a club and a fan base. The trust want us to grovel to the people doing this to us and be grateful if they let us stay there. They are without doubt laughing there head off.

Or the one about buying half the Higgs share, when it was already confirmed and agreed as 100% to Wasps.

I am 100% in agreement that I am out of my depth and would much rather be doing other things.

Quiet correct but you need the will, and I don't see any to be honest. This academy issue is twelve months away yet you would think it was tomorrow. There's loads of room and scope at the present Higgs site and as pointed out by ashbyjan there are other facilities that can be used such as Warwick University. Ask yourselves the question why Anderson can't or won't look at this option ?

Why text him, why refuse to put it in writing, why not get around a bloody table.... Saying that, the council have got rid of the 50 Metre swimming pool, Wasps are suggesting they will build one, I am guessing the Council are all for that idea.

He asked to meet him to discuss and CA asked for it in writing.
WTF

Surely his main concern should be pleasing the CCFC fanbase and club? He's not here to please everybody. He's here to get the best for the club.

Don't get me wrong, I think if Wasps had felt the trust trying to get everybody against them when they moved things might have been different. They would shit themselves with all of the bad publicity, but that's then.

I agree that something needs to be done, I was just saying from Steve's position.

He offered to discuss as it appears he thinks it can be achieved.
Did CA really decline to talk ? That seems a little odd.

I just for the life of me can't understand the lack of fight. I get that we shouldn't be discussing this, we shouldn't be having these issues. We are though, I think we should fight. People need to see that the fans care. At the moment i dont think they see that.

Relocate the First team to the Higgs centre , Another piece of CCFC will be sold off ie Ryton . By the time Sisu have finished there will nothing but the name (CCFC) left !

Your input to be polite is worthless. We all know where you stand on any issues. Right in Eastwoods back pocket because despite thinking SISU were great you have now decided there not and that wasps hedge fund is great as there helping you get richer. Go back to the rock you crawled out from!

Some of the shit I read honestly. A text and then in writing please.

Complete laughing stock the whole thing I mean.

Get it sorted you complete muppets. Clearly something can be done but what's the saying if there is a will there is a way. No will here.

Yep and CCC and Wasps are helping them along nicely. No one gives a shit about this football club but the fans and some of them appear to not be that bothered.

What's to stop CCFC putting in for planning permission at the AEHC for what they proposed in the statement? I.e. move the seniors to Higgs and closing Ryton? As far as I'm aware you don't need to own the land to put an application in. If there's two separate applications in on the same piece of land CCC will have to look at both and consider both meaning either application is now far from straight forward and will have to be looked at in detail.

Just a thought.

Its not a case of nobody gives a shit about CCFC, each organisation is a "stand alone" business and has its own criteria and obligation to their own organisations . It s proving nobody wants to buisness with Sisu , as simple as that .

Put in an application that it be used for CCFC academy and netball? You know like what is was built for?
