I'm sure a few years ago the FL had a rule that said all clubs needed to have 4 (?) directors....that was what was behind making Mickey Adams a director at Port Vale as they had a boardroom clearout and couldn't reach the minimum number otherwise, so he got co-opted.

I guess Deering is close to Joy - I presume that this is Joy trying to have more oversight of what's happening at the club. Fisher apparently spends most of his time in Germany on other projects and (I may be wrong) is not a SISU employee, just paid by them to work for the club (there is a difference).

No idea what to read into this in terms of whether the JR appeal has gone against SISU...

She looks like a cross between Vicky Pollard and Devvo.

Probably it is to give more of an insight to Joy, however it wouldn't surprise me if it was her just sticking her mate on the payroll.

Isn't she sepallas assistant?

I'm sure I've seen the name and photos mentioned in the telegraph with respect to some of the court appearances

I saw Fisher in Frankfurt once, was a bizzare experience. I sort of wanted to say something, but couldn't quite put the words together quick enough.

Fisher says it's just for administration purposes? Question is do we believe him?

If you say you believe him some on here question you on believing someone like him. If you say you don't believe him those same people question you on how you believe him sometimes but not others.

Same old shit different day.

Starstruck on meeting Tim Fisher...jesus wept ;)

To be fair, I bumped into Louis Theroux last year on my birthday in Rye, Sussex and didn't have anything to say to him (should have asked him about Jimmy Saville etc).

I've spoken with Tim a few times. Always an uncomfrtable experience, though I never threw a pint over him (was tempted!) Accosted him at Gillingham station after we lost under SP there last year. He more or less told me then that SP was on borrowed time - sacked him a couple of weeks later.

I would only guess that with Fisher spending so much time away on other projects that JS wanted someone she could trust to cover his absence and give her feed back. Deering is an employee of SISU and has been closely involved in all that has gone on

You could also see it as lacking trust in what is being done/said by TF & CA and this is a way of better tabs on things.

All guess work because legally only one director is needed. "Just administrative" is just a bland explanation brooking no further explanation as with the timing of the appointment

I think it was more the feeling you get when you're abroad and you see someone you know, or in this case, someone you wouldn't mind asking a question or two of. I'm pretty sure I was half pissed anyway, so was probably just a bit slow in forming any kind of reasonable sentence!

I've never spoke to him myself, but he was in the Almanack in Kenilworth a few months back and basically got talked into leaving the bar by (I'm assuming) a cov fan who was actually having a meal with his parents. Another bizarre experience in the presence of Mr Fisher!

If Fisher told me Elvis was dead, i'd stick a fiver on him still being alive.

but everyone knows Elvis is dead mate.....he died way back in 1977...I remember it happening & my ma being quite upset by the news....

If I was you, I'd review your gambling approach....

Allegedly!

Shit are we going into administration lol

Not again!!!

It's a different person. I think you're on about Garlick

Hang on, I think Deering was involved in issues to do with the new stadium...she wasn't on the New Stadium Forum (funny how that died a death when SISU got bored of pretending about the new stadium) but she did meet the SCG I think. So you weren't totally wrong.

Funny how things stick with you.

Deering was at a lot of the court battles we've had, eyes and ears for Seppala. I think Fisher will be gone soon as he virtually has nothing to do with the club anymore.

In my opinion something has to happen asap. Minimal investment in the playing side, flogging any half decent players we own, we're purely ticking off the days for the clubs existence and until investment is made I fear for our future. I'm amazed that TM is still here tbh.

Or you could turn it upside down and speculate it is the club wanting easier/faster access to the owners ...
