Saying that though, the loudest band I ever saw was the Sensational Alex Harvey Band. That really hurt my ears. Spent the whole concert with my hands over them

That was Coventry Theatre too.
Go on Zal!

Purchased tickets for Elvana, at the HMV Empire, October 13th.

I love them. If you like Nirvana you probably will too. If you like Elvis, maybe not so much…

My mate loves them, think we might be going, which you've just reminded me, think it might clash with another gig and I need to check!

I’ve seen them a few times now and can’t recommend them enough. Loads of fun but most importantly really good!
Who’s the other gig?

Going to JustDroppedIn at Fargo on Saturday night to see Good Weather For An Airstrike and Worriedaboutsatan.

Not heard of either of them, but sounds like my kind of thing. Only a fiver too.

Yup. I was very young. I think I was 10 or 11. Coventry Theatre 1972 I think.

I just remember them being very, very loud. Really enjoyed it though.

When was Deep Purple in Rock? 1970? 71?
Yes a great banging night.
Can we include Leamington? Saw early Sabbath at the old Jephson Pavillion, supported by Galliard.

@Saddlebrains

I’ve seen your tweets about Harry Styles. You need to delete them and treat people with kindness.

If not, I will fight you at the the Jimmy Hill Statue
