That was a team that had just come up from Division 1, not a team just coming down from the Premier league.
I think Leicester are a far bigger challenge,
However, we've got to play them at their place at some time, so the first game might be as good as any. Maybe we can catch them out before they get into a run.
Yea, and if we can keep things tight for an hour or so, we've got game changers on the bench.
Team is what people should of expected, always not going to play players who haven't played a game for us yet preseason and it's not the game really for Sakamoto at RWB.

Everyone talks as though Eccles is a competition winner. He’s an established first team player who contributed heavily to our incredible season last year

If people say they are willing to trust the club to spend millions on individual players, they’ve got to trust the manager on selection and tactics.

Those who are disappointed about the team selected for today have not been watching Robins for the last 6 years. Two rules he seems to apply fairly consistently :-
1. He values continuity. Last year's success was built a core of players who had been there 2-4 years.
2. He rarely throws new players in straight away. This time he had to, but he has not gone overboard.
Personally I'd have played the Dutch guy and Bidwell rather than Eccles and Da Silva. But Da Silva has been with the club since the end of last season, so maybe that swung it. Not much to choose.
