Bradford playing to their strengths is the obvious thing to do, it's not indecent or shameful unless the rules of football were subtly changed in the last few days.

Not only did Bradford play to their strengths they played to our weakness. Exactly what port vale did, and brentford.

Big difference between our 3rd goal and their play. Our 3rd goal Baker played an intelligent long ball into the channel for our nippy striker who made a great run, all they did was smash the ball 60 yards forward towards their big lump of a striker and pray for a flick on or loose ball...EVERY TIME!

Pressley interview on youtube, even with him talking to the radio channel, Parkinson is acting a prick in the background.

Ah yes, because there's just a switch you can flick to become a successful passing side and it's that simple. It must been hidden behind some boxes for a while in our case.

what's with all the sour grapes here tonight? yes we were the better team and deserved to win but we didn't so can feel very unfortunate. no need to slag the other teamoff for how we've been playing for years. anyway wasnt our 3rd a hoof up to Wilson anyway?

Did you watch the game? Baker played the ball into the channel for Wilson - more of a pass than a hoof.

We haven't played like that for years at all. The closest we got to that was under Boothroyd and look how that ended. It'll get you so far playing like that, and it can be effective on a day like today. Fine, they exploited our weakness, can't argue with that. It is sad to see teams playing like that in this day and age though. I mean there is direct, and there is Bradford City.

it was a direct hoof up to Wilson over the heads of the midfield, get over yourself

We found it

I am not sure you did you know, possession 49%/51%.

I can see this game taking on mythical proportions as the day Bradford City scored from the only 3 times that they touched the ball as Coventry City tik-a-tak'd their way around the lush green pitch of Valley Parade, leaving football fans, all over the world in awe of this one touch domination and lesson in ball retention. :D

The truth is that a better than most L1 side were a bit better than a direct Bradford City side.

hoof is hoof, just because it wasn't knocked on by a big man don't mean it wasn'ta hoof up to a striker

Again, you weren't watching very closely. Baker glanced up and played the ball into the path of Wilson. It wasn't over the heads of the midfield, there were no midfielders in the way. Pointless argument anyway.

Not at all. You caused us a lot of problems, and broke up our play. There is nothing wrong with mixing it up a bit - football would be dull if everyone played like Barcelona, but the truth is that is the most direct I have seen a team play in a good many years, but reading comments from fans of other clubs on a L1 forum after the game, this is pretty much normal for BC. But fair enough, it'll get you results. People probably said the same about us under AB.

I think it is a combination of the late goal and the behaviour of your manager that haS wound people up. But hey, it's a point.

Any team that gets the ball off us and goes forward is playing against our weakness. Hoofball or not.

The attitude of our fans with this pathetic were johny big bollocks Coventry.

I think a draw was the right result. Some people need to realise that we can't just turn up and expect a result.

but being 2-3 up with a few seconds to go....?

Again, who said that? I'm not arguing with the draw, they created plenty of openings - I think it was 19 attempts on goal each. That doesn't mean I have to be a fan of how they play, it was ale-house stuff. But that's just my opinion. No 'Jonny Big Bollocks' from anyone on here. You're just making stuff up again.

Agree that we should at that stage of the game seen it out. However, clark cocked up and cost us the win. That's how it goes.

It could be a valuable point come the end of the season.

personally I blame Thomas for backheeling it to keep it in play?

No im not.

We got a point. They play hoofball.

So what.

Our fans are quick to get carried away. The attitude of a few is that we're bigger than what we are.

What's all this other stuff ive made up??

The other stuff relates to old threads which I cannot be arsed to bring up again.

I don't see anyone claiming that we're billy big bollocks, but I think it is perfectly legitimate to criticise a team that plays that way. But hey, it made for a good game of football in the end so am not going to cry about it. Gutted we conceded so late, but they I am sure you are too. It's funny though, I've seen a lot of neutrals criticise the way they played today, and yet if a City fans says it they get shot down by their own supporters. Nothing changes.
