I'd like to see...

Sheaf - Eccles

Sakamoto - Allen - Simms

Wright

As the front six for Stoke (assuming that O'Hare is not yet ready to start).
He isn't ready in today's performance, he looked rather leggy. Understandably

I can’t see us going down, we’ve been bad but I still think we’ve got enough quality to scrape by as we are. Hopefully get some decent reinforcements in Jan and push on. A short run of form can do wonders for position in this league.
3 go down and only QPR & Sheff Wed appear to be worse.

The thing that’s stood out over the past 5/6 years, compared to days of yore, is that we haven’t gone through bad runs. The odd bad result/ performance, sure, but I can remember under most previous managers where we’ve gone, something like, 11 games without a win. Or 6 defeats in a row.
Under Robins, this hasn’t happened.
This is worrying. No wins before the next international break and I reckon he’s in trouble.

We lost 7 from the first 11 in 20/21

Surely the return of O’Hare looking lively is a positive too? And the formation change could prove to be a big moment I think.

Strange to say that I’m happier after this defeat than before it.
O'Hare is a yard off the pace but maybe Robins is desperate. We could have taken a point from this game which is more than can be said in other matches recently.

Nothing is working at the minute, no matter what we do it doesn't come off. I imagine Robins is trying everything to turn it around and will get time to find the answer.

Its tough to watch and frustrating to know we are miles away from what we were. But no other way than to stick with it, get more minutes into COH, Allen and get Palmer back things will turn im sure.

We need to get the back 3 set and maybe give Wilson a seat get him refocused.

Didn’t spend £20 million that season

Brighton , are we going to have this every week until the form picks up then you inevitably say " well I was just worried "

Besides sacking the manager , I'm not entirely sure what you want to do ? Give him the chance to turn it around

To be fair to robins

he can’t legislate sometimes for individual errors

our defence makes loads
I agree, but I also think he’s been too reluctant to make changes today aside.
There’s nothing he can do about the defence and Wilson thinking they’re playing wheelchair football but it’s been fairly clear the 5 at the back 2 up top wasn’t working with these players we have.

If we stick with either a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1 and cut out some of those individual errors we’ll start winning games.

1 - time for Fadz to be dropped, needs a break
2 - Ayari is a decent player but not the player we need right now - send him back in Jan
3 - Simms and Wright have to start. Not convinced with 3 up top but they both have to start. Both looked lively today and we are all desperate for them to both do well.
4 - Bidwell over JDS all day long. No explanation needed.

Lastly, he’s not quite there but it’s a massive positive to see O’hare back. Him behind Wright and Simms please. Goals will come.

It’s not what I want, least not yet anyway. King however will be looking at the terrible form and performances and weighing it up against the amount spent.

We hadn’t spent £20 million though

Didn't we have Hamer, Hyam, Ostigard, Ryan Giles, a fully fit Callum O'Hare?

We were hardly struggling to field a decent side.

Can’t understand why Sakamoto, MvE & Binks didn’t play can only assume perhaps MvE & Binks are carrying knocks as for Saka a mystery.
Robins has to decide his best eleven and stick with it.

We had biamou and Bakayoko up front

Robins seems too relaxed to be knowingly under pressure IMHO
He said him and Adi only signed 4yr deals on the full understanding that it was the start of another process, and that everybody (King) in the building understood that. I don't think he's going anywhere just yet

Robins has often made (albeit after sticking with the old one for far too long) a formation change that has led to big upturn in fortunes.

Let’s hope this is another one of those moments.
Looked far more threatening but again flapped too many chances before conceding from their only real effort of the half. He should stick with it.
