City Rejects

Miss that shout at players, you don't hear it much any more.

Usually a paragraph from Robins isn’t there when a player moves on who’s been part of the journey?

Their fans are so buzzing looking at replies to that tweet, good signing but I think that’s his level, starter for mid table league 1.

Good business to trigger an extension to get a fee to be honest.

I'm guessing £200k and 20% add on

Good luck to him, not many players have ever won a title with us. I hope he has a good career and is given a warm reception if he's ever an opponent.

Happy we got a fee for him. Decent player but down the pecking order with more players still coming in. The writing was on the wall.

Thinking back... He was a vital piece of the title winning squad. 3 of the 4 goals were matchwinners. So thanks for those 9 pts and all the best for the future... And say hi for me to the 15 or so old boys in the squad!

Wasnt a starter once Allen was fit and O'Hare started to establish himself in the side. He has the potential to improve but with us going up I think we have to improve a lot in the two players who will support the lone striker. We need players who will look to hit double figures.

We *need* midfielders who score double figures?

How many of them were there across the entire Championship last season out of interest?

Neat and tidy player, technically probably the best we had, but needs the game to be played at his rhythm to be an influence. A wet, physical midweek game at Millwall next season, and I think he'd struggle.

Not many, I can think of Eze and Daniel Johnson but they’re a class above anything we have and could attract. It’s an unrealistic expectation for a club who will be happy to stay up

good move by the club, demonstrates we are not standing still and this sale alerts others in the squad that if they want to stay they have to work hard to improve. if we are to progress we have to acquire better players, for me he is not athletic enough to make the step up to the championship. do think shipley does have the potential to make a strong contribution next season and beyond.

Good luck to him, he made a valuable contribution to us winning the league, and for that he should always be fondly remembered.

I think I've worked out what the "i'm fuming" tweet was related too though, he ustve just seen the shirt he'll be playing in next season. To go from our work of arts to something that wouldn't look out of place in a sea-front shop in Benidorm must hurt!

I would say yes more than O'Hare, but does not have his battling skills and tenacity, so is a less effective player.

Good luck to him, they need to use him in the right way ie not as part of a 442, to get the best out of him. Played a key part last season in key times though

Just fell down a twitter black hole and ended up reading a twitter exchange between Westbrooke's Mum and Dom Hyam's Mum . Gotta love the internet.

Best of luck Zain. If he wants to progress he really needs to out on weight. I can give him a few of my stones.

Each to their own there mate, for me Westbrooke on his day was a good player but was annomous in a lot of other games. There was a reason he ended the season as 4th choice cam. I don't think he would have even got onto the bench next season so best move all around and rovers seem to be trying to build something good there so hopefully it's a good relationship
