hmmmm we need defenders first and foremost (in my opinion). Yes our goals have dried up a little, but we're still scoring, its the calamaties at the back that are making the whole team nervous.
The issue there is that the manager only trusts two of the 5 available full backs to start.

I never understand what people actually mean when they describe a footballer as a ‘luxury’.
I think it means they wish their team played attractive football, and so contained such players - whereas in reality their squad is full of donkeys who just clogg the ball into outer space and rugby tackle the opposition in order to grind out points.

With these 2 sounding done and word of another loan agreed. Takes the pressure of Doug a little bit to get a couple of quality permanent deals over the line while the window is open. Id think most would be happy with the start

I overlooked people saying we need defenders but now I totally agree. The Birmingham game was atrocious defending. The through ball from Patrick Roberts was quality but the defence were like statues. Our biggest problem which to me is glaringly obvious is the ridiculous high line we play and teams have sussed it and MVE and JDS are constantly in a winger position when we get caught out. It's risk and reward but lately it's all risk and no reward which is costing us. Maybe the tactics need changing so we're not so high up the pitch. I do admire Frank for his reaction to formation changes though.

I wish MvE had been in the winger position rather than playing the attacker onside.

apparently boro wanted YMH but YMH wanted Cov
Where's that come from because I live in Teesside and work with obviously loads of Boro fans and concrete evidence of this could give me some ammo because as you could imagine I get hammered simply because we turn them over everytime and the play offs.

Been up here a while now and I tell you one thing northerners are the friendliest bunch of people you'll meet including the missus 😂

I agree wholeheartedly that they are very friendly lovely people, and I like all the Boro fans I have met. However, if you agreed to pay me £5,000,000, I still wouldn’t live in Teeside. Hopefully your sentence will be reduced and your parole officer will allow you to relocate soon.

Firstly, great a loanee, so breaking that route. Secondly, a player who can have an impact. Sakamoto, with all the scraps he is involved in with players cutting him down will be relieved after 60-65 minutes and this lad can be a similar threat.

Rushworth is a loan also.

Doug has clearly been smashing the Apres in Les Alps. He’s going to wake up tomorrow morning with a banging headache and then remember than he made two more loan signings…

This is a signing I’m very excited about. He’s got so much untapped potential
