And some were calling for a taxi. Unbelievable
This is starting to piss me off now. They weren’t calling for that. 1 person and 1 person only said that the next couple of games were massive otherwise it would be. A few people constructively discussed the things they felt were going wrong with this season and a bunch of others felt it was too negative to have a reasonable discussion and put their fingers in their ears while refusing to even process the points ... because because because Robins and.... Grendel..... That is literally all that happened.

Pedant lol

Not really as it’s not meant to be a pissing contest game by game

As things stand we are slap bang in the middle of a group of teams who are all trying to go up

It’s never going to Abdul itself like this again

And Godden’s movement into space for his hattrick goal is amazing. The focus will rightly be on Shipley’s excellent bit of skill but it’s that little bit of awareness and anticipation that both Biamou and Bakayoko lack, the kind of thing that you can’t teach and is the difference between good strikers and average strikers. We have the best first XI in this league and are a quality back up striker away from the best 16
What is our best XI though? The squad is looking really strong at the minute

It’s a good question - the flexibility in midfield is the beauty in it. Allen and Shipley if you want runners beyond the strikers, O’Hare and Jones if you want direct running, Walsh and Westbrooke for possession footy. It’s pretty versatile if used correctly.

Apart from.that guy called Wendell and the calked Platt who else thought that was coming. Yes admittedly I didn't think it would be a spanking away from against too of league away from home.!

Mind u saying that we gave ipswich a footballing lesson away from in the cup couple of weeks ago.

Oh dear no doubt. They will try to say they better manager robin's. Lol

Before today we hadn’t won away in 14 - absolutely no one seen it coming.

If you did, you must have had a pretty big bet on it then?

I'm still shaking my head at Wycombe's tactics. They done the same thing every time we've played them since L2 and despite losing each time they've just gone for another rinse and repeat. Baffling management.
I agree (and was actually very confident for a win today despite their league position as was mocking en route how the beast would be high pressing our back 3...).

In Ainsworth's defence, they were and are top so he probably didn't feel the need to change things. No plan B though and with a small squad (the beast is 37!), will be surprised if they stay in the play-offs.

For me

First choice would be the

Marosi
Dabo
McCallum
Rose
Hyam
Mcfazdean
Walsh
Kelly
Shipley
Westbrooke
Godden

In a 3-2-3-1-1 formation

that leaves a bench of

Hiwula
Max
Jones
Kasataneer
Bakayoko
Allen
Ohare

that team should be getting into the playoffs surely

So Bakayoko on the bench then instead of Biamou? Right..

Convinced their start to the season was a flash in the pan. They’re one trick ponies. It’s a good trick mind, despite how ugly it is on the eye. Word travels quickly around clubs though once a team has got found out. Expect them to drop like a stone now. Akinfenwa is embarrassing. Waddles about moaning like my Gran, 18 months on the hip replacement waiting list.

Interesting. Who would be our GK when Marosi gets injured?

I never expected the score today, but having been to all but one away game I've seen us play well at Sunderland and Peterborough and come away with a point that should've been 3, Oxford we threw it away despite being second best, should have picked up points at mk dons too... We were never going the whole season without an away win, we are too good a side, on another note, we've only lost 2 away this season... Its the draws... Win at tranmere and its All starting to look Alot better wouldn't you say
Have faith, you come a cross as very negative at times, we are on the brink of the automatic spots.... PUSB
