This season we have played 9 cup games (EFL & FA cup) this has to be a distraction and take its toll on both to management and players. But IMO it's not just the added games, but making it to the 5th round of the FA cup will be the single biggest cause if we fail to make the playoffs, without a doubt. I have seen it many times over the years where lower league teams who have a good cup run either miss out on promotion or get relegated. I think we will make the play offs but seriously have my doubts that we would if we had progressed any further in the FA cup.I am.not so sure i would blame the cup

Or even better. The next 4 games are all winnable fixtures. We’ve already beaten 3/4 already and Barnet at home really should be a win (we’ll up losing just that game now).
This is such a crazy league. We’re 8pts off Wycombe in 3rd with a game in hand, if we match or even better their result, we could be in a position to put pressure on whoever is 3rd place with a win over Luton.
I think we need to stay unbeaten this next 4 games, if we get 2/3 wins, we’re right up there again. Madness.
