Why do you need to "go for it" in the first half away from home?

Off topic, but just listening to CWR and heard a mention of Adi Viveash, which made me think of Steve Taylor. Long winded way of asking if anyone knows how his recovery is progressing? His absence seems to be forgotten in this up-and-down season.

If you want to really light the touchpaper, tell him you really rate Haynes, Doyle and Jones. But make sure to retire to a safe distance (at least ten yards) and always use eye protection.

It's better than waiting for them to go a goal up to go for it

Yep, no worse than anyone else. Like Burge and sometimes Kelly, the scapegoat for when the team isn’t playing too well

Never mind Haynes, what's happened to Grimmer? His pass completion must be about 25% over the last few games!

It's half time and we're drawing 0-0. That's not too bad in all honesty!

Some of the comments on here warrant a call to samaritans!

Oh yeah, if we pull something out of the bag then defend the win it's great.

I think if we do score it will be a bit of skill from something individual rather than a well worked team goal like we see against us most weeks

It's not happened with enough regularity to justify the tactics for me, they are too respectful of the opposition. Wycombe are 3rd because they go out to score more than they concede and most teams can't handle the pressure. Have felt all season that despite injuries we could win more games comfortably if we decided to take games to the opposition from the off.

Fingers crossed with space opening up 2nd half that Kelly can push higher again.

We're not. We've got forward but some poor passing and decision making has meant it's led to nothing

It's as if he tries to play his passes actually on the line, but most go out.

Anyone remember Jeff Blockley?

Remember him well. Good centre half...came to us from Leicester and moved on to Arsenal. Think he may have got a cap when at Highbury. He scored the best own goal...unstoppable...at the west end.

Don't get all these negative comments (Nick) Pitch obviously tricky with the conditions and we were forced to play long balls due to their pressing early on. Uneventful first half but we've been absolutely fine. Nice break away by JCH, couple of lovely crosses from Haynes. Wycombe haven'y had much either.

What's wrong with the pitch?

Our strikers have had no service, absolutely stranded

I believe he's been around the club and training ground integrating himself gradually and without pressure

Burge punches, but then they header it and he catches.

One of their players blocks his quick kick and gets booked.

Shipley straight down the tunnel

Not the weather to be pulling things! Hope it’s just precautionary and to get him back in the warm
