What was also pleasing was the stamina of the team, still giving a 100% in the 100th minute of the game.

And against a premier league team 😯

that result will def give the teams we’ve got left to play a bit to think about, we ripped apart a decent prem team, if we can do it against wolves we cans do it against Leeds Southampton and Ipswich, going to be a cracking run in,

Thought I was past most of the emotion but Give It Up by KC and the Sunshine Band came on the radio at work and I started singing the Ellis Simms version in my head. Got a shot of adrenaline and a knot in my stomach.

I'm not sure how many times I've watched that before today, but it's the first time I spotted that Wright points out Simms to the crowd to give him credit for the lay off.
There was an interview with Vivash and he said that they worked on that move all week in training and the only time wright hit the target was the in the match

Was stood behind the goal almost right next to the Wolves fans and followed Wright's goal all the way in. Walking away from the ground was surreal, Wolves fans just dumbfounded and silent while we sang all the way back into town.

They were trapped in their cars looking at us singing all the way back to the station - priceless

Everyone talks about the Man U game, but we were poor in that one for 60 mins. I was crushed when Wolves scored the 2nd, but those misses in the 2nd half seemed to tell an all too familiar story of not taking your chances. To come back and score 2 at the death was the stuff of dreams.
Palmer's effort that narrowly missed the goal was what I thought would be the defining moment.

The best match and best moment of my CCFC following life. Screamed myself hoarse, hugged everyone within about 30 feet of me, sang all the way back to the coach, was in very real tears and had several people checking on me.

I'll never forget the guy behind me saying "oh my god, could you even imagine" as Simms laid it off followed by what felt like the entire universe going silent as Wright's shot flew through the air, followed by the most gutteral, primal, incoherent shriek coming out of my mouth and the mouths of everyone around me. The football crowd "YEAH" after a goal is one of my favourite sounds on the planet, but the one from the away end after Wright's goal was more like EYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH

Oh, and the Wolves fans were loud as fuck throughout the game and nothing but congratulatory and classy both on the walk back and at the services on the way home. Have had time for them since
