Once before a game is fine. I enjoy it but the second verse and after the game is pure killjoy. It’s so bad.

CCFC please listen as most fans think this. Make it a special pre kick off one verse and that’s it. Else it loses the appeal badly.

Agree. But just like the motor city stuff thats being put out at the moment you can bet wladitt will be flogged to death. Anything cool is done unofficially, the club pushing something so much will only make it awful.

I think our issue is we lack any obvious identity and the fans are desperate to have something.

Was really surprised, and disappointed, they played it today. Ground no more than 1/3rd full it was only ever going to be half arsed, borderline embarrassing. Definitely ridiculous playing it at full time.

The club need to be very mindful of sanitising the atmosphere and everything becoming very generic. Its going to be bad enough with more day trippers attending without the creation of an atmosphere in a 'paint by numbers' way, but I guess its in keeping with so many other PL teams. Hopefully the club prove me wrong, but somehow I fear the worst....

It started getting too much after the enemy performed it before Sheffield.
They started adding extra verses and after games. Just caused confusion if anything.
Then as it became apparent we were gonna piss the league it was any and every opportunity to play it, pretty sure every player got sick of it by the end of the parade.
Pre match, one verse, one chorus... That's when its got it's impact.

I’d argue with the more ‘day trippers’ comment.

We have 24k STHs and there will be more than 1K less matchday tickets each game due to an increased away allocation and amendments to the stadium.

And all matchday purchasers will need a membership.

There will be less day trippers than ever.
