As per the title. Why can't Sisu accept the offer made through the FL now and give us fans and the playing staff some hope ahead of next season?

If you believe some posters on here and indeed if they believe themselves then the JR is a done deal and Sisu are going to be acquiring the Ricoh on their terms anyway.

So where's the harm in accepting ACL's offer through the FL now when apparently it will never take effect anyway?

Why did Sisu walk away from the HoT agreed for a rental deal in February 2013?

That's a better question.

What was that offer again and is it still valid?

£400k/year rent. The option to negotiate further access to income.

God knows, ACL aren't talking to anyone thanks to the JR. Ask again in June.

I know I know "with hand in the air"
The reason Sisu won't accept a rent deal, drum roll please.
Is because it would effect the millions they have to pay Arvo every year !!!

Last offer I read of was £150,000 a season. The one ML pretended he didn't know about.

They can't except it because they will loose any leverage they have on ACL to get the Stadium on the cheap.

I think ACL offered them free this year then £150,000 for the next 2 years.
However I think ACL new they couldn't except it because it would blow there plan out the window.
Probably the reason they put it through the FL so they could see what SISU were up to.
FL seem to have ignored it.

Thats the point. The done deal thats JR is the leverage. If its a done deal then there is no reason why they cant accept the last offer that was made through the FL. Clearly from SP's comments posted here on a different thread its something that will benefit not just the fans but the playing staff too.

Lets call it £400K (inclusive of matchday costs), that is actually what was offered, more or less.. it is all on the SBT web site in some detail.

Was it a temporary deal? I thought SISU asked for a run off period and were told no straight out?

Again, it doesn't matter if the JR is a done deal. What ever deal they sign will be irrelevant as sisu will apparently be in control before next season anyway.

We need something to look forward too ahead of next season and seemingly so does SP. So why wouldn't sisu sign a meaningless contract that will give everyone hope ahead of next season. When was the last time we had something to look forward too?

What is the detail on the revenue access? That's probably the reason why they won't accept.

The rent deal that SISU 'agreed' to, signed HoT and everything.

http://www.ricoharena.com/news/acl-statement-february/

£400k with £300k arrears written off, access to matchday revenues, and a deal to pay back remaining arrears over a period of time.

Then apparently an even better one during the admin (£150k?), and later another one passed via the FL (initially free, then £100k).

Those HoTs eh, not really worth the bother, no one sticks to 'em.

Again. If the JR is a done deal it doesn't matter. Under the terms of the offer if sisu had to pay ACL £1 for every pie, pint and parking space they sell on matchday it wouldn't matter. The JR's a done deal so any contact they sign now will never come into play. Apparently.

ACL are not a party in the JR, the council are. It shouldn't stop ACL doing anything, they're a 'private company'.

Ah, the pie money. There's probably no deal on revenue access - but from a purely commercial view they'd still be in a far better position with 10,000 at the Ricoh than 1,500 at sixfields, obviously. And who knows, they might even be able to negotiate for some revenue access, it seems it was on the table at some point.

So what's the real reason they won't accept?

Actually, ACL are named as an interested party in the JR. I'd guess the reason they're done making offers though is that SISU have made it plain that they are not willing to entertain any.

A private company that's being manipulated by CCC who allegedly employed one of the worlds most expensive PR companies to represent ACL @ the recent high court heating in Birmingham.

Assuming you meant hearing then ACL haven't been to court yet, the JR is later in the year.

Or have they moved into building works as the exhibitions stuff isn't really working and actually were looking at the court house heating?

Wrong on every count there RFC, though good effort. ACL weren't at the recent High Court hearing, that was Higgs v SISU. CCC have a 50% share in ACL, so are entitled to a say into what happens with the company, so not exactly manipulation.

Also, how do you know where Weber Shandwick sit in the charging ranks for PR companies, was this something that Timmy or Mark told you perhaps?

That'll be why they won't accept. They want access to revenue streams.

And if you think it's just a bit of pie money, you haven't really grasped how this issue is so important in the dispute. If it's just pie money - why are ACL so intent on keeping hold of it?

Again. If the JR is a done deal sisu will apparently be having all the revenue streams anyway.

So there is no harm in them signing any deal however ridiculous or reasonable the deal on offer may be as they'll be in control of everything anyway by next season seeing as they can't possibly loose the JR apparently.
This being the case they may as well sign a deal now and give the much beleaguered fans and playing staff something to look forward to.
