Which team? Last season or this season? (2 Viewers)

Its way too easy and shows no respect or understanding to say yeah the new guy he's way better.

McSheff has been a good player over the years but played badly when he came on against Yeovil. Fleck has been here 5 minutes and limped off. Before you start bigging him up for the Ballon d'Or lets see him play a bit.

Fleck in 37m, done more McSheff in 53! McSheffrey is too hit and miss, whilst he does chip in with some quality goals here and there but the negatives out weigh the positives imo.

Over rated, overpaid (for Cov)

Fleck has had one half of one game. Of he does half of what mcsheffrey did when he first played for us he will have done well. We will see.

He has also come to Coventry with the label of a kid with a lot potential, more potential than Mcca has ever had! Even if we were stepping stone in his career, he's got more hunger as he knows, if he does well, he'll get a big mo

McSheff WAS quality once upon a time, but NOW he is dire! Bar the very rare moment of class, he offers nothing! Set-pieces, crosses are poor, he's selfish, tries to shoot from a ridiclous ranges, breaking down moves in the process, most importantly, he doesn't appear to have the hunger nor desire to be in the team. IF he was one of the appearance fee rebels, it just goes to show how he's lost it...

No Keogh!?

Fleck ahead of McSheff anyday of the week! :guitar2:

poor post. how can u say fleck any day of the week? he has played one game. we dont know if he will be any good, so far he certainly seems a sicknote judging by pre season and last week so to have so much confidence in him is a strange one

Ah - but your forgetting that sky sports scout report labelled him the Scottish Wayne Rooney in 2009.

Macca isn't as good as he once was but to say Fleck has more potential that Macca ever had is again a bit unfair and easy to say. When Fleck gets to the Premier League he will have caught up with Macca. I still think he can do a better job on the left side than Kilbane can and just because he was shit at Yeovil doesn't mean he's a washed up waste of space. If we threw every player who had a crap game to the wolves we would have no one left.

McSheffrey has been poor since he resigned, poor down the under AB, did better under Thorn but still way inconsistent, selfish.

Also, Fleck hasn't merely played 1 game! He's played in pre season and been amongst our best players - ahead of 'macca'! And yeah, pre season counts for something.

Okay, but joint top scorer last season from midfield in a harder league than we are in now, isnt a bad return for in your opinion such a poor player.

Does Kilbane offer the same goal threat from the left?

Mcca, had his moments last season no doubt, but he was way too inconsistent.

What people forget, Juke scored the (1) more goal than Mcca in the league and that was to January, mcca had a whole season! Take away his 2-3 pens, he scored 5-6, not that good is it. (note: I do recognise Juke also scored pens)

When you ask does Kilbane offer the same goal threat down the left... Do you mean down the left wing in a 4-4-2 or left of the diamond?

Left midfield, yes he does, but not by that much, he was rubbish down the left under AB, he can't cross to save his life, overall... Poor winger!

Left of the diamond? let's not go there, Mcca admitted that he was the worst defender in the league (Championship) and to have him on the left of the diamond would leave Hussey exposed, people moan of Kilbane's ability to cover him, imagine mcca!

Also, Mcca wouldn't suit LCM, too little room for him to attack (which he isn't that good at anyway) and he'd have to defend...

Rather Thomas than Kilbane and Mcca sheff at LCM.

When he scored 17 goals in one season he was effectively a winger. Most goals come from him playing wide left.

That was before he went to Brum, when he was quality... After that one season at brum and that injury, he was never the same, never will be the same and I don't think he'll get over 10 goals, regardless of where he plays this season!
