Is that linked to the I, robot film?

Its loosely based on it. Similar concepts but the film is a bit more in your face. In the book its more a collection of short stories that intertwine and give the history of robotics, how humans used them and then a slow infiltration of senior roles/politicians etc.

Just finished this. One of the better footballer autobiographies I've read.

I've written a book about a Cov lad set in 1987 and published it on Amazon. It's been out a few days and is getting good reviews, (though I say it myself), if anyone wants a look here's the link

She Wore A Sky Blue Ribbon: The Romance of the Cup, Highfield Road and 1987 eBook : Gilbert, Paul: Amazon.co.uk: Kindle Store

Anybody else read 'Fahrenheit 451'? I'm about 70 pages in and finding it quite a difficult read. Seems all over the place so far. Furthermore it reads like it's written by a 12 year old who's just learnt what a simile is.

It's on quite a few 100 must reads but I'm not seeing the appeal so far.

Just finished it. Very entertaining, and brought back lots of memories, thanks. Good luck with it.

Thought I'd re-awaken this thread as I need recommendations for a good read.
I'm currently nearly finished "Dead Man's Grip" by Peter James. I've read another of his a couple of weeks ago and now he's my current favourite author. As you might gather from the title, it's a thriller, but really un-put- down-able!
My dilemma is, I have to spend most of my days at home, caring for the missus. Telly is boring, so I love a good read. Any ideas of really "edge of your seat" author's?
I also have a copy of "Mein Kampf" by Adolf Hitler, but have never read it. Had it gathering dust for about 2 years. Bought it out of interest, in a charity shop. Just can't bring myself to read it though!

Has anyone read Simon Jordan’s book? Sister in law just purchased it for my birthday.

Be careful what you wish for. About football and being a chairman I guess.

Have read just about all of James' output. Superb.
Mark Billingham's stuff, similar genre, is worthwhile too.
Peter Robinson (loads of them) are decent, if slightly 'gentler' than the aforementioned, and are also worth a go.
And if you fancy a slight change of style, any (all!) from John Grisham (currently reading The Confession, and it's well up to standard).
