I had a Gameboy and a Game Gear. Still have actually.Never had an N64. I know lads who did. But I've always been PlayStation. Didn't own a game boy either, tbf. I had a Sega Game gear.
I remember lads at school playing Goldeneye, but for me, it was all about GTA, GTA London, Twisted Metal, and Fifa 98.

I tried to get into it but sold my copy very quickly. I know it has gotten a lot of good critic and user scores but I found it very boring with shit combat and not the best graphics tbh.Played a fair bit of Kingdom Come 2 now, a lot of fun for going exploring/sneaking around, but the quests themselves can be tedious and a bit of a ball ache. I've mostly completed those at a snail's pace while just roaming around.
As someone who doesn't really touch games post mid-2000s the graphics still look top notch to me. I do find quests boring to complete but that's just par for the course with this genre of game.I tried to get into it but sold my copy very quickly. I found the witcher 3 got significantly better when you leave Velen. So ive given the Witcher 3 a good go and just dont seem to be able to get into it. The combat feels a bit clunky and I keep pressing the wrong buttons! Ill more than likely go back and give it another go at some point and enjoy it (I didnt get on with Hogwarts Legacy at first but really enjoyed it when I re-visited it). But for now, ive managed to get Assasins Creed Shadows for £20 on Vinted so im just installing that as its just arrived! I love the stealth of Assasins Creed games and loved Ghost of Tushima so hoping this combines the 2.

Ill revisit it at some point! Sometimes it takes me 2 or 3 attempts to get in to a game. Especially when ive been playing a different game for so long.I found the witcher 3 got significantly better when you leave Velen.
Witcher 3 is a top 5 RPG of all time imo. I would deffo recommend giving it another chance. AC: Shadows was way better imo than some people thought. Do hate Ubisoft scrapped the AC set during the Civil War though smh.So ive given the Witcher 3 a good go and just dont seem to be able to get into it. Is AC: shadows the same as every other AC? I had Valhalla - But it just went on...Witcher 3 is a top 5 RPG of all time imo. I would deffo recommend giving it another chance. AC: Shadows was way better imo than some people thought. Do hate Ubisoft scrapped the AC set during the Civil War though smh.
Will be interested to see what you think of it, I played with no experience of the first one and didn’t even notice I had ‘perks’ available to use. Suspect you will enjoy it as from what I heard, they sorted out the issues from the first one.to be honest it took me 2 attempts. Once it clicked - i was hooked. I've just downloaded the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 trial on the playstation - i'll give it a bash later. Couldn't get on board with the first initially. But i'll have another bash at that at some point.
Has most of the same elements as that is what Ubisoft does but overall I think it was a refreshing entry for the series and I think the main essence of the missions if you will, were not as monotonous.to be honest it took me 2 attempts. Greatest of all timeThis one I also love playing for the road trips and scenery. The occasional killing when I get bored.
Used to play this with my mates on co-op. Stick the flying cars cheat on and try to take down a police helicopter in kamikaze mode.
Playing High on Life atm. Only a couple of hours in but I know quickly if I'm going to drop off something and I reckon I'm going to stick with this. It's pretty unique which is good with so many samey games around these days.
6-8 hours is a half decent play time for me these days. I'll see how far I get.The novelty wore off pritty quick for me tbh. Did about 6-8 hours.
I've gone through the trial. I really like the story and the world. The combat really does take some getting used to but i'm putting this on the list to buy when it comes down in price! I got it from CD Keys for less than half price (about £20). The combat is tough with my laptop and mouse as stuff like ‘dodging’ is quite fiddly.I've gone through the trial. I've got £8 on the PS store, might buy the first one to get the story.
Can't say I am really, there's only so many times I can do the usual of leading Cov to Champions League glory before it gets boring.Anyone else bothered with FM26?
Come out this week - Unsure what to make, it doesn't seem as slick and easy to navigate as the old ones
The in-play graphics are better granted but I would just play FIFA if I was that arsed about them
I got so good at it, the FA offered me a role in the English setup. Can't say I am really, there's only so many times I can do the usual of leading Cov to Champions League glory before it gets boring.
You can’t complete it?I got so good at it, the FA offered me a role in the English setup.
I've been playing it on ps plus. Rockstar don't tend to keep their games on PS plus for long, maybe 3 months at a time?Fuming!!! Absolutely bloody fuming!!!
So, RDR2 is my all time favourite game. I love it. Played it many times. Never tire of the story. Its like watching your favourite film again and again over the years.
However, ive never played Red Dead 1. And I've looked at it a fair few times but still at £50 I refused to pay it. I wasnt paying £50 for a PS3 game. Granted, it had had a PS4 remaster, but the graphics still looked ropey and slow.
Until last week, when I heard there was a PS5 remaster taking it up to 4K and 60fps. And what a result, its in the sale! 50% off! £25, and a free upgrade to PS5 remaster too! Winner!
Only to find out today, no more than 4 or 5 days after paying £25 for it, its available on PS Plus FOR FREE!!!!! What a bunch of cunts!! Every last fucking one of them!!!!

Is it still free?RDR2 was just free on epic on pc
Not sure it was the 31 days of december stuffIs it still free?
Gives me hope for when the 2035 version comes out.My son got a PS5 for Christmas so I've started playing Fifa (FC26) after a 15 year absence. I've still got it.
Yeh I took a massive gap between FIFA 15 and I think 2023 when I finally bothered to play another. It's a little bit like riding a bike, since around 09 they all play kinda similar. My son got a PS5 for Christmas so I've started playing Fifa (FC26) after a 15 year absence. I've still got it.
I’d never played an RPG before so took me a bit of getting used to, but really enjoyed it and now playing through again. Combat takes getting used to but is fun once you’ve done it a bit.I've taken the plunge and gone for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 as it was half price on PSN. I love the setting and the fact it's not wizardy and dragony but I've largely glossed over RPGs since probably FF7 as I can't abide turn-based combat and endless reams of text and menus, with this either I'll have wasted my money or will realise what I've been missing. Encouraging so far although I need to keep referring to the controls so imagine that'll be a big old learning curve.
