I've been revisiting my old INXS vinyl...... this could basically be the blueprint for the entire career of the killers.

Not music as such but related, I've really enjoyed listening to the Paul Ryder podcasts. It's effectively an autobiography in podcast form made just before he died:

It will come as something of a surprise but I genuinely do like erasure and I am having an 80’s renaissance

I saw them early in their career and Andy Bell had a great vocal range

Found myself listening to Gorrillaz after the Blur chat last week, took me back to seeing them at Boomtown a few years back. Albarn was pretty wasted from what I remember, forgot the words during a couple of songs.

Currently listening to Chopin’s Nocturnes, mainly in the car, as I live in Wales and the blanket 20mph nonsense has been causing me to gnash the steering wheel, somewhat.

‘Yes, officer, I did cause some damage to the face of the gentleman doing 17mph in what you’ll see is actually a 30 zone and not a 20, but I did it a lot more calmly thanks to this soothing Nocturne 9…would you like a listen?’

This on repeat. I love Zombie as it is but hearing most of a stadium sing it hit different, shed a tear when I heard it on the TV.

'Psycho' by the Sonics is a great song - Thoroughly deserving of the (extended) slap remix it gets in this vid.

You have cost me a lot of money Philo! You introduced me to Audiomachine earlier in this thread and I’ve now got most of their music.

Off the back of Sinead O'Connor dying and rediscovering 'Visions of You' I've been listening to bits of Jah Wobble's back catalogue. Some good stuff:

Having declared my love for Harry Kane last night, I had this tune stuck in my head......

Gotta love a bit of Art Brut on a Wednesday......
