Sparks would be great fun!! Still going? If so it might well be a very good call.

New Order would be fab. Would absolutely love that.

I recommend FFS too, the album Sparks did with Franz Ferdinand. Brilliant album.

Not me! That sounds like a right old wet lettuce-faced dweeb.

Give me a raw pigs liver any day and wrap it up in blood soaked entrails for good measure.

Vegetarianism, pah!! I fart in its general direction.

On the other hand, I may well be a Tofu loving XTCite vegetarian and where do I sign for this secret lentil club?

"The Traveling Wilburys" on a Sunny Sunday evening would be special, though some
Of the main players are no longer with us.

Oasis, pulp, blur and stone roses with super grass, shed seven, Mansun, longpigs supporting.....
Joking aside I would love to see shed seven headlining! My first live band and still probably my favourite band!

I used to love Longpigs. Whatever happened to them? I also used to really like Doves and Hard Fi too.

Just checking but you are aware of the fact that close on 190,000 people paid the sum total of fuck all to attend Godiva last weekend, yes?

More Fish than Marrillion - he's retiring this year and doing a fair well clutching at straws tour. Most of my holiday will be spent watching his gigs.

I don't suppose they are still around but the type of bands you want at these festivals are the likes of Hawkwind and Budgie.

I once had some shite team building thing at work and had to say what I would like to have seen but was too young. I said I wished I'd seen the space ritual tour in 1972. Senior management look at me blank eyed.

Yes I know they do well to get what they do, but it's hardly Radio 1's big weekend.

Thank goodness its not. Full of bands and singers aimed at under 14's who come on stage, shout and wave, do two songs and leave.

If money was no object and no matter how big the act are my line up is as follows : In no particular order or day of performance : Metallica,The Stones,Bob Dylan,Greenday,The Darkness,(again) Kings Of Leon,The Who,Marillion, Queens Of The Stone Age, Bonnie Raitt,Guns n Roses,Stone Roses, Fleetwood Mac,and The Foo Fighters. What a line up and a 3 day extravaganza. " Quick nurse Bring Back Rattles needs his medication ! "

Muse,Arctic Monkeys and Foo fighters aimed at 14 year olds? So you'd rather have bands like the Darkness over the Foo fighters, you must be joking.

Any Frank Zappa fans ? I haven't listened to any of his stuff for years but got a CD of his called Tinseltown Rebellion. How can I describe it ? Zany,Creative,Strange, Bizarre, Funny,in other words brilliant ! He didn't give a shit and did what he liked.
Was his music rock, pop, jazz, or a mixture of all three ?
Who cares its different.

That was a one off with Arctic Monkeys etc. You're much more likely to get 1 direction, Rita Ora and whoever else come out of Simon Cowell's bowels this month.

The only real bad year was when they had Rihanna and Jay-Z in 2012. The rest of the time you at least get one good headliner over the weekend.

Don't know Body Count. Who are they?

Dexy's are okay, though I totally and utterly loathe Come on Eileen.

Yeah, UB40.... oh dear. They are to reggae music as Boney M are to prog rock.

I sell some of my vinyl now and then and sold Present Arms by UB40 double album to a customer for a tenner. He was made up as he was looking for it for ages. I told him it had scratches on but he wasn't bothered. Also sold two albums to a mate he got a bargain as one was Rumours by Fleetwood Mac,as he's a friend he got that classic also for £10.00. I'm too soft !

Most of the acts I would like are all bloody dead now! I'd love to see Pink Floyd again, but Richard Wright is no more and Roger Waters won't rejoin. Leonard Cohen is dead. Jimi Hendrix is dead. John Lennon is dead. Bowie is dead. I suppose Bob Dylan is still alive but he's knockin' on a bit! Other than those I would like to see Passenger, Chris Rea, David Gray, Dire Straits and Pulp.
